I’m a vegetarian and like to start my days with a breakfast shake. I take a scoop of leanfit plant-based protein powder (20g protein, 110 cals), a scoop of all-in-one nutrition powder (21g protein, 120cals, multivitamin), and a tsp of Metamucil (for fibre). I add this to about a cup or two of cold water and mix it in a shaker bottle. It’s thick, it’s gross, a terrible texture, and looks like sludge, but it fills me right up and gives me the energy I need. With 41g of protein and less than 250 cals, it’s a good start to the day. I can usually finish it in two big gulps, which is important to me, because I’m notoriously bad at finishing drinks. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good smoothie, but I find this routine more sustainable (and I’d prefer to snack on fruit than to drink it). Since my protein aim is 75-100g, it gets me about half way there before I have a sit-down meal, which makes my day all the easier.
I liked those few months they had Canadian protein
Did you get the plant-based one? I accidentally bought that once since it was right next to their whey protein and it was disgusting. That being said, I don't get the Leanfit anymore because it is high in cholesterol.

I so surprised no one's mentioned Canadian protein. Great prices. Made in Canada. And they're one of the only brands that make their heavy metals and mold testing publicly available for each batch. I love that kind of transpareny. Because if you're having something everyday it should be clean. Good protein, Leanfit etc. No one wants to share their CoA because it likely contains heavy metals as vegan proteins are known to.
FOR SURE LeanFit as it uses organic plant proteins such as pea, hemp, rice, flax, and chia, natural flavours, sea salt, stevia, and enzymes. Unlike GoodProtein, it doesn’t contain any fillers like maltodextrin, tapioca, or processed sweeteners.
I don't mind the leanfit. On sale it's $38/5lbs. It has cleaner ingredients than ON and KL, as I can't digest sweeteners anymore.
I went to a location in Mississauga yesterday and came across Brust (the Canadian protein coffee brand for those who’re not aware) selling protein powder. I was shocked and each serving had like 100mg of caffeine and was either 70 or 75 dollars, I can’t remember. A little on the pricey side but it was a 2kg bag. I personally like the coffee they put on sale time to time, but it’s a bit run down in my opinion but amazing macros and calories so I can’t complain too much. I’m considering buying this tho since the coffees haven’t come on sale for a sometime now, which i believe happens quarterly-ish. Not to mention I use the lean fit protein powder which is good for its price, not the best by any means.
The lean fit powder has excellent macros, tastes pretty decent, and is good value ON gold standard is a classic tried and true protein powder too
