I use lean fit whey protein from costco as its cheapest where I live. In a 33 gram scoop, it has: 3.5g of fat, 24g of protein, 115mg cholesterol, 125mg sodium. Anyone know if that’s decent? Edit: just looked up the stats of the gold standard (55$ per kg) and the stats are so close to what I use and I’m paying 24$ per kg, and mines got less cholesterol which I’m pretty sure is a win.

The leanfit is a whey blend. Meaning it mixes a whey concentrate and a whey isolate together. When you start getting into a straight whey isolate prices increase almost double. Isolate is more refined and packs more protein per scoop. For instance that leanfit is 72.7% protein per scoop when you jump up into an isolate product you can get into the 90% protein per scoop. Whether or not that’s important to you is your decision

Heads up OP that Leanfit whey vanilla was absolute trash in my and many others’ opinion. It’s “aggressively bland” which I know sounds weird but that’s the best I can describe it Leanfit whey chocolate tastes comparatively better

Leanfit sport Vanilla is better than chocolate. They also disolve easily, no need to.shake for 10 minutes

I get the Costco Lean Fit Vanilla. Not too sweet. No bad additives and tastes great. For a high energy shake I put 1/2 cup dry rolled oats, 1tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 banana, some kefir and some blueberries into a bullet blender. The oats blend in nicely and it’s delicious.

Leanfit chocolate. Has a darker chocolate taste. The thickeners make it a strange viscosity, but it's cheap and does the trick. The vanilla one is putrid.

The Vegan Pro was great (they have 4 flavors). They don't carry it in store anymore (no idea why), just onliine. I last bought the leanfit (vanilla, instore) and while it's fine, it's very boring. I like flavored powder as I add it to yogurt and use it for flavor.

I liked the Optimum Nutrition vanilla a bit better than the Leanfit Vanilla but my ON is about to run out so I’m switching to Leanfit since it was on sale. I mix them into a smoothie and I don’t notice a huge taste difference personally.

I liked the leanfit stuff. I used to stock up when it went on sale.

A little high in cholesterol, but otherwise very clean.
