i really like the manitoba harvest hemp yeah max protein powder. it's slightly lower protein than some others (20g per serving) but it doesn't have any weird protein taste to it. it is slightly nutty tasting but its pretty easily overpowered.
Unflavored rice protein from True Nutrition, mix in water is my go to. Manitoba Harvest hemp balance (just put a spoon full in mouth and then add water... but you can't pack this stuff in, too much fiber, max five spoonfuls twice a day I'd say). Manitoba Harvest high protein mix maybe better for strength training. Recently got the Mille yeast protein off of Amazon as a recommendation from this sub... now that is some interesting flavor (unflavored, mix with water)... don't recommend for a first timer. All of it just takes a little getting used to, in my experience. If you have the time and inclination, just dump it into a smoothie with whatever you actually like...
I use Hemp Yeah from Manitoba harvest. I can't stand any of the flavoured powders so that's what initially drove me to this one years ago.
Ooh yes, this one too. Yum. OP, they sell this at Superstore.
Canadian vegetarian option (and safe for most Celiacs): **Manitoba Harvest Hemp Yeah protein powder**. Three flavours (vanilla, chocolate, or plain), three version (protein, protein with a bit of fibre, or balanced protein and fibre). Hemp and pea protein. Not certified gluten free because of small risk of cross-contamination of the hemp or pea protein, but I am very sensitive to gluten and haven't had an issue with their products yet. The chocolate flavour is great warm or cold (but does need to be mixed into water before anything else is added, or else it may clump). Edit: it's also dairy free.
Manitoba Harvest for non-whey.
I love these protein powders!! I can’t do whey and artificial sugars give me terrible abdominal cramps. My day to day protein powders is Anthony’s pea protein because it comes in a 2 lb bag (reducing plastic), but the chocolate Manitoba Harvest is the dessert protein powder (chia pudding, chocolate cherry smoothies, etc).
