Myprotein brand has clear whey isolate that is from fermentation. I like clear protein as it’s available in fruity refreshing flavors and not creamy fake chocolate/vanilla flavors. Anyway, I get various fruit flavors and I mix in my organic triple fiber, some magnesium citrate and multi-collagen peptides. Fermented is a bit smoother and easy to mix and the main benefit to fermented is that it’s supposed to be easier on the tummy….it is said that the fermentation process essentially “pre-digests” proteins making them easier for your digestive system break down and absorb; making it easier for people with stomach/digestive issues. I’ve found it to be true for me…who knows.
Clear protein. I buy mine from MYPROTEIN
Hello fellow protein addicts, a question for you I try using protein powder in a dYnAmIc way lol As one does, I mix unflavored protein into everything from water to coffee to Mac and cheese (got a great recipe for an upgraded boxed Mac and cheese experience) Recently though, I’ve been obsessed with MyProtein’s CLEAR whey isolate flavors, their lemonade and iced tea flavors are amazing (again, got some great mix recipes) I’ve also fallen absolutely in love with ProDough’s strawberry cheese cake flavor. Amazing in all sorts of things, I’ve recently become obsessed with “dirty sodas”. \- first I’ll mix the protein in with water or milk \- then it’s in with the poppi root beer flavor or something similar \- top up with ice and I’m truly hooked The problem is, both the clear isolate iced tea flavors from MyProtein and the ice cream-adjacent flavors from ProDough are pretty expensive. 1. Can you please point me in the direction of more affordable options?? 2. Please send me your dirty soda favorites! 3. my main focus is finding a cheaper clear protein
The pineapple / raspberry versions are good too!
MyProtein makes a really good clear
Easily the best tasting by a mile, but bad for cost effectiveness. I’ve switched to Nutricost unflavored isolate and get an amazing $/gram of protein. I can tolerate the taste too.
I'm not sure if the orange dreamsicle one is lactose free but that is definitely my favorite of the clears!!
