I 2nd kefir! I do kefir with Naked Whey's Iso protein powder unflavored. My body does not tolerate any of those sweeteners so this has been my goto.

Hello fellow lactose intolerant friend! I found out the hard way that I couldn’t do normal whey protein. I just got Naked Whey Iso, it’s lactose free and no taste and it’s amazing. It does foam up with a shaker or a blender, which is nice when I put it in my coffee, makes it feel like a fancy coffee drink, but fyi. Highly recommend.

I like the naked brand whey powders. The vanilla is a little strong but they have a strawberry that blends nicely with other fruit. I’ve also heard good things about the isopure unflavored protein if you want no flavor at all.

I have been using naked nutrition whey protein, I don’t use a shaker ball but I think it tastes the least noticeable in my fruit/kefir smoothies. I tried putting it in coffee but it does not mix properly to me without an actual blender

But I don’t have a blender ball so maybe it could work better with one of those lol

The quality of the protein powder makes a different. My pea protein powder sucks but my whey powder is good. Naked Whey Nutrition, Levels, and Promix are awesome brands I've tried. I know you said you can't have dairy but I'll give my recipe so you know what I do. Fairlife milk, protein powder from brands above, monkfruit sweetener, then as a mix in either fruit preserves or a banana. Fairlife milk is lactose free so I don't know if that would be fine for you.

I buy naked protien powders because a ton of brands put artificial/non sugar sweeteners in theirs and I cannot stand the taste of those. Naked doesn't. Monk fruit is gross to me and it seems to be in a lot of protein powders. Naked has a "plain" that tastes faintly of dairy, no sweeteners. They have a brown rice one that is pretty good too for a non animal derived option. Makes it easy to mix with whatever.
