Naked Whey Iso, unflavored. Literally tastes like nothing. Mix it with milk or juice and it just tastes like milk or juice. I’ve had it on subscription delivery for years cause I hate the fake flavors and sweeteners. 30g protein in 2 scoops.
Naked Whey ISO is a good protein powder, I use the unflavored.
Daily 30 g protein shake in the morning. These are the most palatable brands.: Quest, Fairlife, Orgain, Premier Protein. Also, I add 2 scoops of Naked Iso Whey UNFLAVORED protein powder to my 64oz water bottle daily (equivalent to another 30 g of protein). Between these two things that I do daily every day without fail, plus my three high-protein meals of the day, I always hit my minimum protein macros of 120 g daily.
Which ones were you using? Honestly I had considered using them but each time I start to…I read ingredients and stop 😂. Right now I’m using unflavored isopure whey isotope (about to switch to unflavored Naked Whey ISO) and mixing it with whole milk, frozen strawberries, Mexican vanilla extract, and Ceylon cinnamon (which is different than normal grocery store cinnamon). You can also add chia seeds for fiber, I let them soak for a few hours before making the shake. Lots of people add Greek yogurt or bananas to make it thicker but I didn’t like that so sometimes I just freeze some of the milk and it makes it like an ice cream smoothie. It’s like my dessert every day. I only get the unflavored ones because I don’t like all the added fake sugars and stuff added in most protein powders.
I’ve really been liking the NAKED All natural grass fed whey protein. Minimal ingredients. Mixes pretty easy with water. Has a subtle sweetness and no sickening milkshake or artificial flavors. Zep must have done something to my tastebuds because artificial flavors now make me gag.
NAKED is very good. Simply go to the protein powder on Amazon and you'll see their heavy metal testing results showing <0.15mcg per 30g serving.
They showed their test results for their pea protein which also had the same outcome of <0.15mcg of lead per serving. If you're not vegan, definitely go with whey protein.
