I make Greek yogurt once or twice a week, add seeds and roasted chana to my meals, tofu often, paneer less often. I'm not an active body builder. I've been lifting to manage my PCOS and ended up with a sleeper build. 🫣🫣🫣
Hey this is a completely valid concern. It's Trustified certified. My gut doesn't like whey protein so I have to depend on plant based protein supplements. When I started taking protein, this is what I could afford. It doesn't give me any gut issues like whey does. But different brands work for different people.
Have tried Nakpro, Naturaltein, Cosmix, Happycultures, Mavia, Yogabar, Nutrabay, Aceblend and also tasted TWT
I'd say try for the sample packs u get it on Blinkit to make the best decision. I really liked Mavia and happycultures (provided you get them at the right price) Nakpro Vanilla plant protein is really good, esp with yoghurt, honey and berries. TWT chocolate was good but I'd never pay that much price for a plant Protein Naturaltein plant protein is okay, not bad, chocolate flavour is good Superyou coffee is decent. There are actually so many of them which I've tried but can't even remember now
yogabar plant protein is actually good. they use monk fruit which is very rare for budget brands (usually only expensive ones like twt use it). since it is a pea + rice protein blend the texture will strictly be chalky or grainy compared to whey. it won't be smooth like a milkshake but if u can handle the earthy taste the ingredient is clean for the money.
nakpro pea is good if u are vegan or lactose intolerant. for \~1100 rs u get 25.5g protein per scoop which is decent value. but pea protein tastes earthy and has a chalky texture it won't be smooth like whey. if u can handle the taste the lab report on their website shows it passed with 72.9% protein so the quality is legit

nakpro is a really good choice. asitis or nutrabay are also good budget friendly alternatives to compare prices
u can definitely go nakpro platform, its affordable and decent taste. but if u have the budget u can also go for wellbeing nutrition and twt or avvatar. they are cleaner and lighter. if u want u can also check them on my online store (svesto.com) and use code REDDIT for extra discounts.
Nakpro impact to Nakpro pea protein. Same cost but more per scoop protein.
no bloating as such after both. I tried the chocolate flavor by alpino only, that one's good. I tried nakpro's pea protein, taste was good but texture was weird and initially felt very heavy on my stomach but gradually got better
Nakpro Pea Protein is good Chocolate one
Any thoughts about Nakpro Pea Protein Isolate?
Good to know. Yeah, I'm consuming it from quite a few months and got used to it's taste and texture. I was just unsure about it's quality and absorption rate. Thanks OP.
Felt chalky texture for a week, especially the after taste. Later, I got used to it, so no problem since then.
Been using nakpros pea protein chocolate, taste is meh but Texture is okish, I don't mind it. But since I started adding 2-3 spoons ( that comes in stevia, very small spoon) and it has started testing really nice. I don't know how good stevia but it's good with non flavored whey, saves money and stevia will last for 3 4 kgs protien.
