unflavored pea protein works way better imo. it’s more neutral, kinda earthy but it disappears once you add fruit/nut butter. it also thickens oats nicely instead of making them weirdly creamy. just add a little extra liquid. i also like [unflavored whey](https://dk5cnflyn7mcb.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO3339) but just add more liquid to avoid the dairy note soy protein isolate is another good option if you’re ok with soy. very bland, mixes smooth and doesn’t mess with flavor much at all. probably the closest to does nothing in oatmeal.
Nutricost whey isolate milk chocolate has become my go-to.
My protein or Amazon nutricost Always plain vanilla so I can blend with banana or pb
Optimum nutrition white chocolate. Expensive but good. Don't think it gave any more gains than nutricost though, which has a great chocolate peanut butter flavor.
Yes theres flavorless protein powders. I use Nutricost whey protein isolate, it comes unflavored or flavored, I throw it into different smoothies all the time and I just add my own flavors. Decent value on amazon
Nutricost whey isolate, unflavored. I have eliminated all flavored powders that I use, I get flavor from the fruits I mix with it (banana, blueberries, pineapple).
I use Nutricost vanilla whey protein isolate.
Just got my Creami for Christmas but I’ve been eating Nutricost Vanilla for a couple years now. Love the taste, even in water. And it’s cheaper.
I use Nutricost grass-fed whey. It has zero additives and carbs and mixes beautifully with Greek yogurt (even better with berries added for natural sweetness and fiber). I was surprised when I saw much extra crap is added to other proteins, especially the flavored ones. I don’t need more vitamins and artificial sweeteners, just protein.
Lol, I was going to recommend Nutricost too, as it meets all the requirements that you mentioned. The ingredients and gramage are all very consistent with the staying in lean goal. I did see that you ended up buying the unflavoured one. Maybe for your next run, you can try out the [strawberry one](https://dk5cnflyn7mcb.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO1257), it tastes much better.
