I take nuticost pea protein and mix it with Ceylon cinnamon powder. The protein is cheap, vegan, the cinnamon has its health benefits and helps the powder go down.

I like Nutricost Vegan Organic because they add coconut milk powder to it so it just needs water. I use chocolate PB and they use peanut butter powder so it's not a strong flavor just enough umami to offset the chalkiness of the pea protein.

Garden of Life Whey Protein Bob's Red Mills Whey Protein Nutricost Bob's Red Mills Almond Protein All have little to no extra ingredients, just simple Whey Isolate or Concentrate. None of them has sucralose. It's best to purchase frozen berries in bulk and create your taste w/ a blender, i.e. strawberry or wildberries. This way, you also get Fiber.

I’ve added Greek yogurt and cottage cheese. Protein I just buy Nutricost on Amazon. Simple ingredients nothing crazy but also no crazy flavors.

Bingo! This is the cheapest I've found - $2.79 per 100g of protein, and at the lower end of calories (480 calories per 100g protein).

I also recommend Nutricost brand! I did however develop an intolerance to either lactose or whey recently… and switched to Vega brand which is all plant based protein. I mix with water and frozen fruit or ice (depending on flavor) and have found it to be tasty and filling. Both Oikos and Chobani have good high protein (20+ grams) Greek yogurt.

If you've ever tried to reach out to them to see the results from their third party testing you might feel differently. They completely refused to provide any information without a purchase order #, and even then some of the tests contained "proprietary information" and couldn't be shared. I did eventually get them to admit that if a batch of product has an unsafe amount of lead the most they will do is put a prop65 warning on it.

I'm well aware, which is why I ask companies for results. It is alarming/annoying/shady the degree for which nutricost hides their results.
