If you notice them starting to affect digestion (common), try out some clear protein powders - the good ones taste like fruit juice and are usually made with hydrolysate so minimal GI issues as the dose scales.

In a supermarket setting they're generally positioned as protein water, but when there's multiple servings (e.g. from a sport nutrition brand like MyProtein, ON) they tend to be positioned as Clear. Same shit ;)

The only ON flavor that made it on their clean list was vanilla ice cream, out of the ones they tested. The study specifically called out chocolate flavors for testing higher for contaminants. If you go to the bottom and click on the protein powders used in the study, you'll see that no chocolate flavors got their "clean" label. Many of the powders with the clean label are either vanilla or unflavored. I saw one mango flavor that made the list.

I’m using ON, but Strawberry. Just a personal preference, Strawberry over Chocolate.

I thought it’s quite ok. Personally, I don’t feel it taste artificial. I mix my protein powder with Meiji milk.

I use the strawberry ON one and it's great. Tastes like Angel Delight!

ON strawberry, some of ON flavours are very overpowering and can leave you nauseous (chocolate, cookies and cream).

Our Costco almost always has the Kirkland, ON, and Orgain plant powders for a great deal. Look for the 'Aussie Bites' in the snack section, the ingredients / protein is pretty crazy for the small bites.
