Here’s the consumer reports study on which brands/lines actually have heavy metals: https://www.consumerreports.org/lead/protein-powders-and-shakes-contain-high-levels-of-lead-a4206364640/ In my experience optimum nutrition gold standard whey (double rich chocolate) has been good. No dangerous level of heavy metals per the report, not super high in sugar. If you take it with water it tastes like ass, but with milk (I use whole) it’s surprisingly pretty good. There’s a number of brands that didn’t appear to have the heavy metal problem, so if that’s a worry, consult the report (note, optimum nutrition’s serious mass protein *did* have more heavy metals, so check by product, not just by brand)

love pescience. I used to drink ON but then my stomach would always gurgle a little after. no issues with pescience and the flavours are better than ON imo!

Kirkland first for best balance of flavor and price. ON always overall winner on taste and texture, but inenevr buy it from Costco due to price.

It seems about the same to me, but after trying it I did go back to ON and similar ones when they are on sale. The Kirkland one is more my backup one.

ON. Shakes well with little effort, no clumps. Flavors are meh but I can always doctor it up if I’m feeling froggy.

Pretty sweet I’d say. Packaging recommends 8oz to mix (I use almond or oat milk) but I find 14-16oz best for flavor and consistency.

I’ve tried ON, Ascent, and Levels. Out of those three, I prefer Levels.

It really depends what country you’re in and what you can get your hands on. I personally prefer a WPI powder, International Protein is good but it can give you some mad shits, ON is okay, but I’m not a huge fan of how it tastes, Pure Supps I found are really good but I don’t know what countries they’re available in. If you have Optimum Nutrition, try their Gold Standard Isolate, I find that’s better on the stomach and tastes better than Standard Whey.

Agreed! I like the taste of Redcon1’s products but mostly use On brand (for price).

Our Costco almost always has the Kirkland, ON, and Orgain plant powders for a great deal. Look for the 'Aussie Bites' in the snack section, the ingredients / protein is pretty crazy for the small bites.
