I do the Orgain 30g for lunch at work. Normally we buy 4 cars on sale to last 3 months.

I also use the orgain vegan protein powder (30g protein, vanilla flavor). I mix it with PB2, Greek yogurt, half a banana, and a handful of berries. I do this for lunch every day and it ends up 400 calories and 50 grams of protein. I am vegetarian and before doing this I knew I didn't get enough protein. I just didn't care before the baby 🤷🏻‍♀️

This stuff made my stomach hurt really bad. I think it has inulin fiber because everything that has inulin is awful for me.

I tried Orgain and it was incredibly disgusting. I returned it. I ended up getting Isopure unflavored plant protein. It is a blend of brown rice and pea proteins. I made smoothies with it (1c triple berry blend, a drop of vanilla extract OR 1 TB cocoa powder, 1/2 a banana, scoop of protein and 8 oz. of water. ) sometimes I’d add PB flour too.

I make a daily coffee protein shake but it’s definitely not cheap. Here’s my recipe: 1c cold brew (or just leftover coffee) 1 scoop collagen peptides (various brands, whatever’s on sale) 1 tsp mushroom coffee powder 1 scoop chocolate flavored greens supplement 1tsp colustrum powder (this really helps w/ my seasonal allergies for some reason) 2 scoops Orgain coffee flavor protein powder 3/4c fat free cottage cheese or yogurt Sometimes I add sugar free coffee syrup or espresso powder or cacao nibs, but not always. Ice I blend this like crazy with a little water if needed. It generally gives me roughly 60g of protein with very little sugar & keeps me full all morning. The nootropics from the mushroom coffee really give me sustained focus with no crash.
