I like the orgain plant based superfood protein powder if I’m making a full on smoothie - frozen fruit, almond milk, spinach, peanut butter. But I usually just have a protein milk with my meds in the morning - I’ve tried them all and prefer the fairlife nutrition chocolate milk (lactose free) and the orgain plant based protein chocolate milk.
I really love Orgain organic vanilla protein, the one with the blue cap that has the "50+ superfoods". I don't really care about the superfoods but I like the macros on this one and the taste.
Protein powder mixed with oat milk and instant coffee, every morning. It's the only way I will get any protein in the morning because I cannot eat breakfast. Doubles as caffeine and protein! Edit: well in typical adhd fashion i did not read the part of your post where you were looking for options that were not protein powder LOL. if it helps the protein powder I use is plant based and it actually has a lot of super foods in it, it's the Orgain Organic protein with superfoods on Amazon.
I haven’t tried others but I got the Orgain vanilla with superfoods and has decent fiber too. I think it tastes genuinely good and I usually dislike any fake sugar flavors
Orgain probiotic protein powder, chocolate flavor, oat milk, PB fit 1 scoop, sometimes strawberries ora banana and a scoop of collagen. I have one before leaving for work. I also have the core power ready made shakes for emergencies.
Yes, they used to carry the regular one years ago and then switched to the probiotic version, it gave me major stomach pains.
I feel your pain. Too much dairy, especially consistently on a daily or weekly basis, also causes me to have breakouts. Very sad bc greek yogurt and cheese are delicious. So many products have whey that I didn't realize before I started looking for dairy products in labels. Whey protein shakes are also by far superior IMO. Before I ditched "natural" fake sweeteners (stevia, monk fruit, etc.) I didn't mind the Orgain brand. There was a coffee one that wasn't bad. Tho Orgain is grainy (or was when I had it) but all vegan protein powder I tried was grainy. None of the brands I had came close to being as blended as whey. I haven't tried soy protein powder, most of the ones I tried were pea/nut based. Collagen protein powder blends well. Flavor depends on brand. Out of the ones I tried, Vital Proteins unflavored had the best tasteless taste lol. I haven't tried flavored collagen powder because all of the ones I've looked at in store has the "natural" fake sweeteners.
Yes, as a supplement, and only one a day, so the majority of protein comes from food. But it helps and is quick and easy in the mornings/refreshing after exercise. I use Orgain and do subscribe and save for a large size in Amazon and that keeps my costs under $30 a month for it.
Exactly the same for me. "FIBER IS LIFE!" Fiber triggers glp-1 production naturally, so you feel full. Mix it with a protein powder of choice and chug it if you don't want to buy Metamucil. I use 1 scoop of cereal milk flavored orgain protein powder and 1 scoop of psyllium husk in a pint of water and it tastes like I'm chugging the aftermath of a bowl of fruity pebbles.
Erythritol can definitely cause GI issues so keep an eye out for which sweetener it uses - I really like orgain, and I think theyve gone back to using stevia instead in some blends. But erythritol is probably the problem
I really like Orgain, and my husband swears by Ghost
