I use PEScience unflavored protein powder. That way it goes with what ever I’m making. Very handy!
I like unflavored PEScience protein powder for Creami. You can flavor and sweeten it to your taste. Also, since it's unflavored and unsweetened, you can add it to your batters for baking and/or pancakes and waffles.
Stop using vanilla flavored protein powders. They taste like ass. All of them. Unflavored protein powder and add in the amount of vanilla flavor you like. I use torani French vanilla syrup and vanilla bean for flavor. I use PE Science unflavored protein for the protein aspect. It’s the artificial vanilla flavors from protein drinks that you hate, not the protein itself.
protein powder please invest in something good, if you want cheap 5/10 go myprotein or optimum nutrition or kirkland, these are not that good imo but are cheap and decent macros, out of those 3 myprotein tastes better but has worse macros. imo my faves are 1. ryse 2. pescience 3. ghost 4. dymatize, these in skim milk are fucking amazing and pescience is the best BY FAR for baking since it’s a whey casin mix!
well if your baking you need a whey isolate otherwise it’s not going to turn out good but the main thing is taste, expensive protein powders taste like a chocolate milkshake, like u wouldn’t know your drinking protein powder, also for like my protein they have worse macros then other protein powders, i’d recommend pescience as it’s a whey isolate meaning it is good for baking and it tastes good
PE science sells 5-serving pouches, good way to try a bunch of flavors without committing to a vat of protein you don’t care for. I ended up really liking their flavors and also felt that this brand sits a little heavier and keeps me full longer which I personally like as a big back masquerading as a bikini competitor :) snickerdoodle is my fav flavor or theirs, mixed with oats or added to Greek yogurt as a fruit dip
I agree about your thoughts on PE Science’s vanilla. I thought it tasted very artificial and overly sweet.
I’ve had good success with PEScience chocolate truffle really good taste.
I've recently redone my diet around eating as much protein as possible. I bought the PEScience vanilla protein powder, it's 27 24g servings for $47. I only use half a serving per day mixed into my yogurt so it will last me 2 months and breaks down to $0.87/day for an extra 12g of easy protein. Because I don't rely on it heavily, that cost is worth it to me. It takes my usual breakfast up from 24g of protein to 36g for minimal calories and zero effort. All of which is to say: Maybe there's a way to balance the cost with the benefits. Even using 1/4 scoop in a bit of nonfat yogurt at the end of the day for an extra 6g of protein could be worth it.
I like the flavors in PE Science. Strawberry and add some frozen strawberries, caramel macchiato add in jello lo cal cheesecake.
I like the PE Science so will stick with it for now.
Don’t let this mf gaslight you, you’re telling the people straight truth, PEScience vanilla is NOT the way to go for a vanilla ice cream lover.
