PEScience - Select Protein

Everybody has different tastes by I've tried about 15 different brands and for me it's PE Science and it's not even close. Their peanut butter cookie and snickerdoodle flavors are the only protein powder you can mix solely with water and have it still taste like a milkshake. Everything else you either need to add milk or other mixins to make them taste bearable, which also adds extra calories to each shake.

Those are my two go-to brands. PEScience is straight milk protein, which is made up of casein and whey (I think like 4:1 casein to whey), and the Dymatize is hydrolyzed whey isolate. I generally use the PEScience in my overnight oats and for cooking, because I like the texture it provides better than the straight whey, and drink the Dymatize after I workout. I’ve tried several flavors of each, and liked them all, but can’t comment on the cookies and cream from either specifically. I’m not even sure if either even sells that flavor, tbh.

I’ve tried most of the flavours and i don’t think there’s one that i really dislike? They have a few peanut butter flavours which are really popular, as well as cookies and cream (but i find there is this slightly weird salty aftertaste). They are all quite nice, if you’re hesitant can try chocolate truffle, it’s a more basic choco flavour

Don’t let this mf gaslight you, you’re telling the people straight truth, PEScience vanilla is NOT the way to go for a vanilla ice cream lover.

I like PeScience best. I always keep Vanilla and Chocolate Cupcake around. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard is my second choice. Drank it for years.  I typically mix mine with unsweetened vanilla almond milk (Silk). It’s minimal calories but does add a touch of richness.  If you can learn to just drink it with water it’s a nice way to save a few calories or not be stuck when you run out of whatever other liquid you may use. 

I've got to disagree. Their Frosted Sugar Cookie flavor is definitely little too on the nose and overly sweet imo. I get tired of it part way through the pint.

Promasil vanilla is great in shakes but kinda muted in the creami - honestly I am obsessed with the frosted sugar cookie from PE lol best vanilla I’ve found

Sometimes I make a chocolate protein shake (pescience brand chocolate truffle and fairlife fat free milk) and add a scoop of instant coffee . It’s perfect 👌

PE science chocolate truffle is the best chocolate protein powder. You can buy a small sample sized pack with only five scoops on Amazon for $13. However, every protein powder that is chocolate I have ever encountered has needed tbsp of chocolate fudge Jell-O pudding powder to make it taste chocolatey enough.

I’m not OP, I’m another person. Pe science vanilla has a funny flavor. You should try pe science frosted sugar cookie as a vanilla base. It’s so much better it’s not even funny and gets you a tastes much more like vanilla

So I also tried all of the protein powders, like optimum nutrition vanilla, or science vanilla, pe science cake batter, clean simple eats vanilla, clean simple eats cake batter. I can honestly say I was extremely underwhelmed over all of them. Then I read someone’s comment that they used pe science frosted sugar cookie as a vanilla base. I ordered it and this is the one! It barely has a cookie flavor almost inperceptively, but it’s definitely the closest to vanilla that you can get. Even better is you can get a $12 sample bag off of Amazon and not commit to a whole tub.
