I like the cafe latte flavor but hate all the others
After seeing countless recommendations online, especially from Ninja Creami users, I ordered multiple PEScience flavors: Gourmet Vanilla, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake, Cake Pop, and Frosted Sugar Cookie. I honestly feel like I wasted my money. Before anyone says I got a bad batch, all products were within date and I tried them both as shakes and in the Ninja Creami. My issues: Extremely artificial flavoring Strong lingering aftertaste Grainy texture compared to other protein powders I’ve used Every flavor tasted almost identical with only minor differences What surprised me most is that the flavors all seemed to share the same overpowering artificial sweetness. I’m not someone who normally complains about things being too sweet, and I regularly drink protein shakes. But this wasn’t “dessert sweet” or “ice cream sweet.” It was an artificial sweetness that stuck around long after every sip or bite. For comparison, my go to Creami recipe is incredibly simple: 400 mL Fairlife Fat Free Milk 2 scoops Premier Protein Vanilla Whey That’s it. It comes out thick, creamy, and tastes significantly better to me than any of the PEScience flavors I tried. I bought PEScience expecting a premium product because of the price and the overwhelming praise online. Instead, I’d personally rate it about a 3/10 and would not recommend it. If you’re thinking about buying it because of all the online hype, I’d strongly suggest trying a sample first. I wish I had done that before spending over $100. Curious if anyone else had the same experience, or if I’m just in the minority here.
I like Premier Protein, the Caffe Latte one- drink half on my way to OTF 6am!
I’m waiting for the day the Premiere Protein ones go on sale again. I don’t like any others.
Premier protein from Costco is my go to at the moment. 30g per serve for only 160kcal. Either that or Bodiez protein water
Premier Protein shakes and powder are both good. I got a big canaster of Premier Protein Vanilla Milkshake Protein powder from Sam's Club. I Mike it up and pour it over ice. It tastes like a milkshake with the texture of water
