I mix 2 scoops of Premier Protein powder (cafe latte or caramel) into Stok brand cold brew. I use a milk frother to remove the clumps and then add ice. Has me feeling like a barista lol
yes! its been a game changer for me, people hate but i love my protein coffee and icecream/baked goods. i look on amazon for sales, pure protein and premier go on sale every couple weeks but the flavor is random. walmart and aldi also have generic options. ocean state job lot (close-out store) has usually something and I can usually find powdered protein for ~$12-20 for a big tub there. dollar tree will get some VERY random protein, but at $1.25 its a steal. a milk frother helps A TON with blending in the powder. or get some shaker blender bottles. but basically buy in bulk and dont be afraid to shop around and try something new. some weeks im drinking vegan ultra clean protein and some weeks its super creamy premier. After a while they all start to taste the same!
That's my go to too on the Cheap side,I always take some and mix it with Almond Milk and Creamer to blend with My Coffee.its a Great Breakfast/Post Morning Gym before Work thing for me
I like adding plain Greek yogurt instead of milk for the extra protein (then I usually just add half the protein powder). I like Premier Protein powder right now but try different ones. Unless bananas are the perfect ripeness I feel like they can throw off the taste. I’ve started adding frozen riced cauliflower instead and it gives the same texture without changing the taste ( plus less sugar/ calories/extra veggies).
I use the powder because it’s cheaper but the shakes are good too. I mix the powder with almond milk and I like vanilla and cafe latte. I also use the powders to make protein ice cream in my ninja creami! So good. Fairlife chocolate shakes are good but since they are so expensive I only have a couple a week whereas I have the powder multiple times each day.
I like strawberry. For whatever reason, it makes it easier to drink the thick protein shakes. A thick chocolate tastes like motor oil and a thick vanilla tastes like bad milk. Ultimately though, it depends more on the brand. Synth 6 is my favorite powder based on taste, but it is more expensive and lower protein than other options. Premier protein is probably the best all around, but it only comes in chocolate and vanilla. Lately I've been using Quest which I find tastes great and has a lot of protein for very low calories.
I just chug one of these bad boys right away in the morning.
Of course the protein powder I drink isn’t listed: Premier protein powder. Idk if that’s a good or bad thing 🥲
Super late to this but I’d used Isopure for years, then Dymatize. I switched back because I had a tub of Dymatize that had a similar consistency to the new Isopure (not knowing Isopure changed their formula) and gave up on buying protein powder for a while. I’ve been using pre-mixed premier protein in the meantime but it’s definitely costly. Do you still use Dymatize ISO? Is it still a solid protein? Would like to go back if it was just a bad batch.
Premier protein is 160 calories for 30 g of protein that should help keep you full for a while Otherwise clean simple eats and oath have some non milk based ones if you’re wanting something more like koolaid but I don’t know the macros on them. You could make those in a seltzer. Proffee is a good idea and you can use decaf to avoid the caffeine. You can make some pretty low calorie smoothies use a serving of fruit, some water and some kind of protein the fiber and protein would keep you full.
Yeah I’ve tried some of those so far the only ones I like are the quest ones which are hard to find, premier protein and nurri which I don’t have a Costco membership for
