You're going to have to purchase better brands. You'll need to be okay spending money to get a better experience, like most things in life, unfortunately. I switched to Orgain and Premier Vegan protein powders and will never go back to using anything else, mix with coconut milk or vanilla almond milk and they're delicious and sweet enough to keep me away from desserts. I'm allergic to dairy so have limited options but those brands have been better than anything else I've tried over the years. You can usually find coupons for Orgain to buy at Walmart.
Premiere protein vanilla as coffee creamer. I can at least get a whole shake in first thing in the morning over ice with coffee
I do! I start every morning with a protein coffee: 300ml of Stok unsweetened cold brew, a packet of Splenda, and 45g of Premier Protein chocolate protein powder. Blend for 30 seconds and sheer bliss.
Premier Protein Vanilla Powder (make my own smoothies) Chocolate Peanut Butter ready to drink Cafe Latte ready to drink Those work well for me
How are you mixing it? I mix about 50g of Kirkland chocolate protein powder into a blender cup with vanilla yogurt (100g), a banana, almond milk, and either frozen strawberries, raspberries, or cherries. All I taste of the protein powder is a bit of chocolate flavor. I used to use Premier chocolate protein powder but recently switched to the Kirkland brand after getting my Costco membership because it is less expensive.
I'd love if you could share your tests! I agree with CSE, I don't understand the hype because to me they have this weird gelatin/collagen taste. As for flavors I want something bakery tasting, like I wanted to try brown sugar oatmeal from BEAM or any cake-y flavors or oatmeal cookie/cookie. I love cake batter ice cream or sugar cookie flavors, but nothing, including mccormick cake batter flavor and PEscience sugar cookie have been able to achieve the flavor I'm looking for (like the birthay cake ice creams or sugar cookie latte). Other than that I'd love a milky/ strong vanilla basic protein to just use for matchas and drinks or creamis. I tried PEscience which was okay, not really vanilla. CSE sucked. TBH Premier protein vanilla powder in almond milk gets the closest to dairy plus a hint of vanilla- that's been my go-to so far. Would love any suggestions!
