I use Premier Protein whey protein powder as it tastes nice and is an easy way to hit my protein goal without adding a lot of calories. If you specifically want to feel full for longer 0% Greek yogurt is great as an entire 32oz tub is 450 calories and about 80g of protein. Not suggesting you eat an entire tub at once but half a tub feels like a whole meal and will fill you up for hours
I had the same issue. I decided to buy sample sizes where I could to find what I liked. I found prodough to be too chemically tasting. Clean simple eats is better. If you’re making something cold, fit creamery is awesome. I used premier protein vanilla as a coffee creamer in my daily coffee. I finished off the tub yesterday.
Premiere protein vanilla as coffee creamer. I can at least get a whole shake in first thing in the morning over ice with coffee
I do! I start every morning with a protein coffee: 300ml of Stok unsweetened cold brew, a packet of Splenda, and 45g of Premier Protein chocolate protein powder. Blend for 30 seconds and sheer bliss.
How are you mixing it? I mix about 50g of Kirkland chocolate protein powder into a blender cup with vanilla yogurt (100g), a banana, almond milk, and either frozen strawberries, raspberries, or cherries. All I taste of the protein powder is a bit of chocolate flavor. I used to use Premier chocolate protein powder but recently switched to the Kirkland brand after getting my Costco membership because it is less expensive.
I'd love if you could share your tests! I agree with CSE, I don't understand the hype because to me they have this weird gelatin/collagen taste. As for flavors I want something bakery tasting, like I wanted to try brown sugar oatmeal from BEAM or any cake-y flavors or oatmeal cookie/cookie. I love cake batter ice cream or sugar cookie flavors, but nothing, including mccormick cake batter flavor and PEscience sugar cookie have been able to achieve the flavor I'm looking for (like the birthay cake ice creams or sugar cookie latte). Other than that I'd love a milky/ strong vanilla basic protein to just use for matchas and drinks or creamis. I tried PEscience which was okay, not really vanilla. CSE sucked. TBH Premier protein vanilla powder in almond milk gets the closest to dairy plus a hint of vanilla- that's been my go-to so far. Would love any suggestions!
I've been trying different protein powders for 25+ years now, and the best tasting protein I've ever tried, unequivocally, is the chocolate flavored mix from Premier Protein. I'm not sure about their other flavors, though. I don't usually try anything but chocolate for any brand, or some kind of chocolate variation because every other flavor is usually a big miss.
I get premier protein vanilla from costco 12 cartons for around £19. 30g protein i think around 1.5g sugar and around 150cal not as thick as others but does have sweetners. If im not in the mood for a shake I use it as the milk in my coffees that day.
