PVL Isogold. Triple chocolate milkshake. Unfortunately the price has been increasing pretty significantly.

You can make any of them thick if you put just a little liquid ! I’ve been using PVL iso gold lately but it is quite sweet (with sucralose) just because I got a good deal on Black Friday. A lot are similar tbh

It isn’t a Whey Isolate, so you’re getting more lactose and less grams of protein per scoop (24 instead of usually ~27g). I’d spend the extra money to get the higher quality stuff that actually has more protein in it (+15%). But if you’re on a budget and don’t care, it’s a good enough whey protein. I’m using PVL ISO Gold and love it, buddy uses Diesel and swears by that one. Two recommended high quality Canadian brands. Hope that helps a bit.

It mixes well and tastes good. I prefer PVL Iso gold. Best stuff I've had

I definitely have not had the same experience. All mine come out perfect with my base no matter the Protein i've used.

Isogold, Gold Standard, Hydropure - there's been more but those 3 I remember the most. Personal favorite has been Hydropure, the flavors and macros are unmatched. Here's my Vanilla base (this is for large pint): 35g Protein Powder - Hydropure Vanilla 225ml - Skim Milk 225ml - Almond Milk 12g (1tbsp) - Sugar Free Vanilla pudding Dash of salt 1 tbsp - Vanilla Extract 2 Tbsp - Stevia or monk fruit 1/8 tsp - Xanthan Gum (never guar gum, i don't understand people who use guar, it never mixes well like icecream) - I always put xanthan last so it doesn't clump. I blend everything in my blender thoroughly to mix the ingredients together. When i use my Creami, i never rinse the sides, just scrape the top down and blend in light ice cream. After first blend, I press down and smooth everything again. Depending how it looks I might blend the second time on mix-in setting instead of re-spin. I find re-spin sometimes makes it more soft serve and re-spinning on mix-in setting without mix ins gives it more of a regular ice cream feel. Macro's 36p 25c 5f 269cal

Valid question. I love the PVL isogold triple milk chocolate but I think it may only be available in Canada.

I use isogold whey isolate in mine. I don't like their vanilla milkshake flavor for making vanilla ice cream, but it's acceptable as a filler if you are adding other flavors and have nothing else. I would actually recommend their ice cream cookie sandwich flavor for making vanilla ice cream. I did a side by side test and found that when everything else was the same, the vanilla milkshake flavor was too salty, while my other options were not. I do use 1/4 tsp salt in my mixes, but none of the other ones have tasted salty. The salt is supposed to bring out the sweetness. I'll have to try the natural vanilla flavor when I get low on powder. Chocolate milkshake and iced mocha cappuccino are both good options. I find the strawberry is a little on the weak side, even when adding fresh strawberries. Maybe I'm just not a big strawberry fan, I don't know.

Me either. In fact, I only really noticed it when going side by side with a few other options that I was using to compare. That's when I figured out the ice cream cookie sandwich was a better choice.

Do the iso protein mix well for you? I got a 6lb tub and it clumps. I had diesel iso before and it smooth
