Quest.. vanilla flavor .. 45g of protein but they are like $5 each so I get a bunch when they are BOGO at Publix
Quest Vanilla Milkshake has 24g of protein for 110 calories. You can mix it with water (not the tastiest option), or do 1/2c water and 1/2c Fairlife nonfat milk (that specific milk adds 6g of protein and 40 calories for 1/2c
I think Quest vanilla is pretty good.
I like the lemon lime Liquid IV- I use more water than what it calls for but it’s less strong taste wise than Gatorade. I like the Alani Cookies and Cream, Muscle Milk Intense Vanilla, or the Quest Vanilla protein shakes.
I'd say the quest 45 vanilla is in the running.
I'm not a fan of them. They are thin and not very sweet. I like nurri. Premiere. Fairlife. Quest.
I do not like sweetened coffee, but I have used Quest vanilla protein powder in coffee to hit my macros on occasion. It dissolves well and doesn't get gritty.
I hate most of the ones I tried. I must hate the taste of sucralose, because that seems to be a common thread. Note that I don’t care for sweet drinks. I have zero interest in soda and am baffled about why anyone wants to ruin a perfectly good glass of ice tea by sweetening it. So this obviously affects my taste in protein drinks. I won’t go so far as to say I’d drink these just for the flavor, but the two I’ve found that I don’t really mind are Quest 45 vanilla and Koia Elite chocolate. Note that I drink a shake (12-14 oz) mixed with a liter of seltzer.
Quest vanilla milkshake powder is very good.
I have been on the hunt for a good vanilla, and have up. I remember quest being bad. If I'm remembering right the texture had too much gum and the aftertaste was like cheap stevia.
For me the texture issue is from the Quest powder having too much gum and thickeners in the ingredients. I don't use any thickeners in my recipe at all since it makes the ice cream more like a mousse or pudding. Other people love it. To each their own. The flavor was not good. As I said it tasted like cheap stevia. Cheap stevia has a slight licorice aftertaste.
Echoing the immersion blender tip. I do use Quest actually, the vanilla ice cream flavor (previously used premier's premade but developed some kind of sensitivity). To mask the stevia taste, I mix in a teaspoon of matcha powder or cocoa powder (the baking kind, not hot cocoa) before adding liquid, then let it hydrate in the fridge a few hours (overnight if I can remember) and blend in half a banana (eating the other half).
