I am really picky with the protein powder taste and I really like Revolution Nutrition's chocolate cake and vanilla cake flavours. I've used both the High Whey and Iso Whey formulas, I mix them with water and ice in a shaker bottle and I've never had any grittiness. The churros flavour was also decent (cinnamony) and the strawberry shortcake was also good but I get sick of it faster. Ships from Montreal.
I mix it with water and ice in a shaker bottle and shake the crap out of it, and I find it creamy but not too creamy. I actually add more water than the instructions ask for and end up with a consistency like chocolate milk. That's actually a plus for me, I hate thick shakes.
I found the High Whey and Iso Whey to mix similarly and never had any issues personally... It can be a bit chunky but I usually just fill half of my shaker, shake like crazy, add a bit, shake again like crazy and then fill the rest, shake again and it's alright. Honestly, I started buying it for the price and the fact it's local to me (ish, i'm a bit over 100km East) so cheap + fast delivery. It mixes very well in overnight oats.
If you’re Canadian revolution pistachio ice cream imo
+1 revolution Pistachio ice cream is A++
If you get leanfit on sale from Costco it can go as low as like 70 cents per serving or something like that, maybe 75 I personally like revolution a lot for the flavours, cost is similar to Canadian protein unless you’re buying the bulk 10lb boxes at Canadian protein which seems to be the cheapest option
Leanfit, revolution and sometimes Canadian protein I might try nuage from Costco as well, when I run out of my current stash
Only “cheap” with the 10lb bulk box I do buy the smaller stuff generally when I buy from any of those places for variety Right now I prefer revolution for taste reasons
That was my favorite before, the strawberry bsn syntha6 lol though im quite partial to pistachio ice cream revolution nutrition these days
Tastes great too Pistachio ice cream and the strawberry short are both killer
You won’t know until you try (unless you know artificial sweeteners or lactose bloat you) Personally both revolution and leanfit are fine for me
Yes, I have at least 2 scoops a day. My go-to is Revolution Chocolate Cake. I put it in my coffee, or with a portion of greek yogurt. I also make healthy ice cream with my Creami: 1 cup of milk, 120g of greek yogurt, 2 scoops of revolution, bit of splenda, vanilla extract.
I use either Canadian Protein or Revolution, bulk order whey Isolate
Hey guys - I bought the isolate (cookie dough & peanut butter) from the website. Overall, I'm kinda disappointed in the flavor and texture. It's not sweet at all (sometimes I add sweetner). I typically try and make a "protein drip" for my cream of rice, but this stuff is very hard to mix correctly. Not sure if anyone has the same issue. Seen the Costco deal a few weeks ago - great value but not sure if I want to take another chance
