I've really struggled to find a clean dairy free protein powder without a bunch of junk added.
So, I just created my own list of clean dairy-free protein powders and ranked them good-better-best based on how clean (like non-toxic, healthy) they are. All plant-based ones are organic and all beef-based ones are grass-fed. None of them have dairy, soy, gluten and have minimal ingredients. Also added the protein amount per serving.

I tried KOS years ago and it was so delicious, but then they had that suit with lead and whatnot. I don't know if they've made their formula safer. I did Earth Chimp Strawberry and liked it a lot, just didn't renew. I've tried Vega Sport Vanilla and it was...okay with yogurt and berries, but chalky and wouldn't dissolve enough. Sunwarrior 30g Vanilla (forget the title of it) was similar: too chalky, didn't dissolve well, but was fine.
I've heard terrible things about Naked Protein (but that was a friend trying their whey, idk about the vegan stuff). I love Owyn's shakes but their powders have been awful, and that's a real shame because I like their ingredients. (If anyone's tried their 30g tubs, did they have a bad batch or something? Is it any good now???)
I really want to try Truvani and Space Milk but the former is soooo expensive for only 20 servings and idk if Space Milk and yeast will work for me since I might be celiac.
I’m guessing you’ve had Fairlife. I like how they taste; but I could totally see you thinking it tastes like a melted milkshake. Maybe you could try plant based shakes instead? I didn’t love OWYN, but it didn’t taste like a milkshake lol.
For protein powder I use vanilla Sunwarrior (also plant based) and it’s great in smoothies.
