I use unflavored/unsweetened Sunwarrior collagen-building protein powder in my green smoothies - I can't taste it and it doesn't have a weird texture, which is just what I want in a protein powder. I also really like Lenny & Larry protein bars. The IQ Bars at Costco aren't bad - not as tasty as Lenny & Larry, but definitely cheaper!

I've found Sun Warrior  to be the best bang for the buck. That's just for protein to add to berry or peanut butter/banana smoothies. I get other nutrients from the Costco almond milk that I blend in.  I recently tried the PLNT lemon sugar cookie for when I just want to use a shaker. It's pretty tasty.

I love sunwarrior too! But showed my partner the CR article tonight and he searched online for sunwarrior + lead and didn't like what he found. Apparently they've had problems even though they didn't get called out in the article. They had at least one settlement they had to make about it. Though it's very hard to read the legal brief, not being a lawyer. For now, I'm going to finish my tubs and contract the company to see if they will release the 3rd party testing results to me. I have difficulty with gastritis and sunwarrior is one of my most digestible protein sources.

I second Sunwarrior. Good ingredients and flavors, and sweet but not super sweet.

r/veganfitnessAnyone have a good protein powder oatmeal recipe that isn’t disgusting in texture and taste?

1/4 oats, 1 scoop sunwarrior protein powder, 1 scoop nut butter, 1+cups frozen fruit, 1-2 tbsp chia seeds, 1-2 tbsp flax meal, Brazil nut, milk of choice. I've eaten this (minus the protein powder) every day for the past 15 years lol but sunwarrior has a great texture in oatmeal

I just verified that Sun Warrior is NOT a product of Nestle nor in the top ten of their lead list. Huel is bumming me out, but the Sun Warrior is comforting.
