I recently started having Superyou yeast protein powder quick review 1. Light on stomach 2. tasts good (but is very sweet) 3. cheaper than whey BUT, The power is so fine that it is very similar to talc (powder). literally when I put the scoop in my shaker some but just flies of, and it's kind of messy to use it. you try to scoop it, some goes away flying or get on your hand and honestly that is a problem for me. I have a pouch in my office and I cannot, just cannot add it to my shaker without spilling it all over the place. Whey in that sense is way better. I am thinking of going back to whey....
*How is whey protein different from plant Protein?* **Simply put, Whey is heavier, more nutrient rich, good for muscle recovery in people doing heavy workouts** *Can I just add it to my water bottle and consume it for the entire day in sips?* **No. Whey protein needs to be mixed and drunk immediately.** *I have a sensitive stomach, so I don't want anything that is too heavy on it.* **Yeast protein from SuperYou is very light and easy to digest, but inferior to whey from a nutrition perspective.** *Do I have to buy a shaker? Can I just use a regular water bottle?* **Yes, you need to buy a shaker. You can use a normal water bottle, but it'll create more work.** *Can I start with a small packet, if possible, instead of buying a big packet of 2 kgs?* **Yes. Amul has a 10-sachet whey pack costing 750. Superyou has an assorted yeast pack of 8 costing 850.** *I don't have much of a budget, so anything under 2.5k-3k is okay for me.* **Amul is your answer.** *How good are protein bars as an alternative?* **Aww Hell Naw... More harm than good and never an alternative. Even protein shakes are relatively better.** *I love the ones by Max Protein, The Whole Truth, Hyp, Phab. I have them as a snack between breakfast and lunch. Would it okay to stick to them?* **In the long run? Everyday? NO.** *Heart is also not so good.* **Get a fitbit and monitor your heart rate during cardio. Don't overdo in the initial months. First, build stamina and strength. Start slow to last long (That's what she said.)**
I feel SuperYou is a good alternative to this, been using it for a month now and I have to say it's got good taste, mixes well and packs good amount of protein per scoop
Yeah, it's probably because it's fermented yeast protein, not whey. I get that now that I read my comment and realize what I wrote.
I’m personally taking super you fermented yeast one, it’s working well for my gut and tastes amazing.
I see, I have tried cosmix before as well but didn’t liked the aftertaste. I don’t find taste a problem with superyou. Thankyou for letting me know bud
That’s actually a pretty fair take. Some of these newer protein powders are *way* too fine and it gets messy fast. If it’s annoying enough that you’re avoiding using it consistently, that’s already a downside. You could try adding water first and then scooping slowly, or even using a funnel but honestly if whey was more convenient for you, there’s nothing wrong with switching back. Consistency -small differences in protein type.
Oh I didn't know that, thanks for the update, how ever they do quality check of every batch. I had used origin plant protein before superyou.
Immature try it, thanks! Im trying superyou this time
Suspicious of your taste buds, superyou is cheap and also has the most chemical taste, even worse than Nakpro. Muscle Nectar's stevia sweetened chocolate is light and affordable, no point in spending big bucks which just goes to advertising and Sharvari and Rohan Joshi
