Looking at nutritional information on all 3 vegan protein 360 (black, gold, platinum), they all have similar calories, (90, 107, 120), protein (20, 25, 28) (80%, 83%, 80%), carbs (1.3, 1.6, 1.7), fat breakdown (.6, .4, .8) when you take into account that the serving size gets bigger with high-end products (25, 30, 35g). The high-end products have vitamin and minerals. I don't know if the protein source is better, but to me it looks like you are paying more for a larger serving scoop and 1/10 to 1/5 of a multivitamin.
I like the Huel LITE protein shakes. They're a lot less gritty/sandy than their other types, and the banana is nice flavour. Also 25g protein for only around 150 cals. Also been trying Protein Works vegan Platinum Bueno Chocolate flavour protein powder lately and its been nice!
I always recommend protein works. they have three main options: their standard vegan protein, vegan protein extreme and wondershake. the wondershake is the priciest but is definitely the closest to whey texture wise. i have used all three in baking and they work really well. I don't tend to get chocolate flavour though so ymmv!
Protein Works Speculoos flavour is amazing through oats, yoghurt or on it's own and it has wee bits of crunch biscuit through it which is a nice suprise. Their chocolate coconut party flavour is nice as well and has bits of dessicated coconut through it Their blueberry cheesecake riot flavour is also really nice, it's almost like blueberry cinnamon flavoured milk
I use Protein Works almost exclusively for everything now: whey, creatine, Thermopro Burn (their version of MaxiMuscle Thermobol) and other stuff. Their protein flavours are top notch and mix well. I usually always opt for banana now as I like to chuck an actual banana in with things like spinach/kale, nuts, flaxseed etc. in a morning supershake. They're a bit like DFS with their always-on sales and constantly changing discount codes though, to make it look like you're getting a way better deal than you are with inflated RRPs that you never pay, but decent value nonetheless.
I use the Bueno flavoured one for smoothie bowls, absolutely slaps
Protein works kinder bueno and banana ones are pretty good. I found the myprotein ones a bit too sweet, this was a while ago though.
If you hate texture dont get protein works. They're bitty and almost...chewy unless you blend it. If you use a shaker you won't have a smooth drink. Im sure they say they're the smoothest one out there too... Most vegan protein shakes are slightly bitty I've found. I just buy alpro chocolate (or other flavours) protein drinks. 50G protein per litre
