Look into True Nutrition. I make my own blend with my own choice of base protein, custom flavor and heaviness of flavor. And they have add ins like probiotics or multivitamins etc. my favorite. I use soy protein isolate personally. No issues. Not gritty.
I’ve been using True Nutrition for a while now and it’s honestly one of the best protein companies out there. Their quality is top notch and they have a massive variety of protein types and flavors to choose from. What really sets them apart is that you can actually choose your sweetener: stevia, monk fruit, or sucralose, which I’ve never seen anywhere else. My go-to flavors are Cookies & Creme, Caramel Macchiato, and Marshmallow. If you want to give them a try, you can use my code Gavin10 for 10% off your order: https://www.truenutrition.com/Gavin10

I second TN. I’ve made a few of my own non-whey mixes and the texture was way more tolerable than like ghost vegan. And the fact TN has so many options besides just making it all pea protein too is great
I really like tru nutrition. You can make your own blend and has links to 3rd party testing.
I get mine from true nutrition. 3rd party tested and it's byo.
I really like True Nutrition. But in my experience, the crazier the flavor, the crappier it tastes. So I stick with vanilla and chocolate. That said, for True Nutrition, I can get the vanilla Lean Plant Blend with Monk Fruit for 120 calories and 27g protein. Because of my calorie and protein goals, I usually do 2/3 of a serving, and get around 18g protein for 80 calories. You'd be hard pressed to find anything leaner.
I like True Nutrition's WP Isolates (rBGH/Soy Free Whey Protein Isolate in particular), and I've also had custom mixes from them. I get unflavored. Undetectable levels of Arsenic, Cadmium, Mercury, and Lead. You can request lab reports from them. The only issue with them is slow shipping, but if you plan ahead and order more before you run out, it's not a big deal. The one I mentioned has: **Total Fat** 0g, **Cholesterol** 0mg, **Sodium** 80mg, **Total Carbohydrate** 1g, Total Sugars 1g, **Protein** 30g IMO ON isn't great. The flavor is good, but its cholesterol is high, and the amount of protein per scoop is low. Based on that, the amount of Isolate in their mix is probably much lower than in the other two lower-quality proteins. Depends on what you're after, I guess.
Yes I absolutely take protein powder, both during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It’s just protein and protein is an essential nutrient. I still eat Oreos too, they’re even more processed and less healthy lol, so just make sure you’re getting a good protein powder and not a crap one with a bunch of fillers. I use True Nutrition’s grass fed beef protein powder (flavored with either monk fruit or Stevia) because I’m dairy intolerant. No effect on baby whatsoever, and I was able to actually get some protein in me during my morning sickness phase.
I really enjoy True Nutrition. Tastes good and fairly priced, along with other good supplements. Can use my code DYLAN15782 for a discount too.
