For plant based powders: my absolute favorite is Orgain Simple, second place would be Ora Organic. I like the chocolate and vanilla flavors from both brands. Truvani was ok but I really only liked the banana cinnamon, the rest of the sample flavors I tried didn’t taste good enough to purchase again. In my experience so far, plant based powders can be super gritty unless blended so I always make my shakes in a blender with a few frozen banana slices.

I haven't found it in ireland but on a recent US visit I found truvani and kachava as plant based protein brands with great flavours and good protein to calorie ratio. I also break out with whey so have been hunting for options. Next time I go there, or have friends going i'll shop for a lot more as both these brands tasted good and i actually enjoy my morning protein shake.

Truvani! Editing to add: they have a TON of flavors, minimal additives, don’t make me feel like garbage as someone w a sensitive stomach.

I feel like with everyone and gastritis, it can be different. For me personally, I do fine on Truvani Vanilla vegan protein. It’s only got five ingredients or something and it tastes good.
