Premier Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter 30g and Vega Essential Protein in chocolate

I use Liquid IV Firecracker, Vega protein powder in chocolate (I prefer vegan protein powders) and I take 500mg mag citrate at night to help with sleep and keeping things smooth.

I like Vega chocolate protein shakes. They’re made with pea protein.

I like Orgain for vanilla and Vega for chocolate (the Vega vanilla is a little too cake batter-y for me)

I've not found a protein powder that has those characteristics. You'll either dissolve into water and have some clumpyness, or you use a blender to get it mixed well. My go-to is Vega chocolate protein powder. They have some other flavors too. It's not great, but (to me at least) it's not gross. Clumpy but I'm wiling to deal with it over washing a blender. I don't drink it for fun, I drink it for the 30 grams of protein I get.

Such a frustrating process with no good solutions as NSF and Clean Project both recommend products that are either loaded with fillers and thus lower actual protein vs cost ratio. Clean Label Project recommends only one plant based product (KompleX) and of course it's sold out on their website and Amazon. NSF recommends Vega and Thorne. Vega is organic BUT only the flavored versions. Thorne not organic, cost prohibitive for daily use. Also very concerned how much lead I've been consuming from my daily pea and previous soy protein smoothies for the past 25 years. As a 9 year vegan, 30 year vegetarian, I only get about 30-40 grams of protein a day, which is definitely low for running 3 miles daily and weight lifting.

I realized recently I’ve been using Vega for almost 20 years and that makes me feel so so old lol. I currently have 3 different formulations in my kitchen.
