For slow long runs I like using the Adistar 4
It’s basically a softer higher stack sl2
Very comparable to superblast 2
Second this…very underrated shoe
My son who runs for a adidas sponsored D1 school got me onto the Adistar 4. It is one of his favorite mid to long runs shoes. I like it a lot and the price is good. Just picked one up on sale on Amazon for $79. Unbelievable
Not true what the other person says. Adistar 4 is made for running and has good support and bounce
My pair of AP4 is about 50g lighter than my pair of AP3, more comfortable, feels faster. It’s a better race shoe, at the cost of durability. AP3’s are the most durable race shoes ever… I still have 1 pair left
Adistar 4 might be one of these. Not "raving" per se, but some word choices are cringe. I still like the shoe though.
Anyone have a rod break in their AAP4s?? I have about 150 miles on mine and when I put them on today there was a crazy clicking sound every time I stepped down. Are they done??
I have 2 pairs of Adidas ADISTARs that I alternate between when I know I'll be standing and/or walking on concrete all day. They have some covering over the mesh in the toe area unlike the Asics GT1000s which I have also worn several pairs of in the past. I was fortunate to find both pairs marked down.
