As someone who has both ap3 and ap4, the ap4 did not agree with me.  It's too squishy and does not work with my running style.  I liked the ap3, I wouldn't say I love it. It's firm and has a good responsiveness to it. I prefer the nb sc elite v4.

Adios pro 4. Should be able to start finding some good sales on them. Especially in "uglier" colorway. Honestly a very versatile race shoe that will kill on a 5k as well.

Ugh too many. Lol. Mainly roads here. Saucony Hurricane 24s for easy runs. Cushiony and supportive. Saucony Endorphin Speed 4s and Adidas Boston 12s for tempo and intervals. The ES4s have 220+ miles on them and are becoming less snappy so I started rotating the B12s in a few weeks ago. Adidas Adios Pro 4 for racing.

I’ve had the the Saucony ES4 and ES5 in my rotation and love my Adidas Adios Pro 4s.

Don't blast them until you try them. I love my big stack shoes. My favorite long runs shoes are the ASICs Megablasts and Hoka Skyward X. I also love Adidas EVO SLs. Race shoes are Nike Vapor Flys, Alpha FLys, and Adidas Pro 4s.

While I am not training for a full marathon, I am prepping for a half, and also run in the EVO SLs. I did get a pair of AP4s and do find them comfortable for my long runs (\~12mi) in prep for the half coming up. I would say to go with the AP4s *but be sure to run in them a few times before your race* and at similar/close to race pace/distance. The golden rule, as they say, nothing new for race day.

Just chiming in here as someone who has the EVO SLs and raced a half in the Adios Pro 4s - they are both great. One thing to note, at least for me, is that I noticed when wearing the Adios Pro 4s is that the front of the foot feels slightly elevated (higher) than the rest of the foot. May be due to the geometry or the rods, but just thought I would note that here. Didn't bother me during the race, and the Pro 4s felt great throughout the whole run.

If you're a heel striker definitely not the pro 4

Curious to check it out. Tried the pro 4 on and couldn’t dial the fit and the foam was softer than I would want, but I never ran them so hard to say how’d they’d feel. The 5 hopefully firms up slightly
