As someone who has both ap3 and ap4, the ap4 did not agree with me.
It's too squishy and does not work with my running style.
I liked the ap3, I wouldn't say I love it. It's firm and has a good responsiveness to it. I prefer the nb sc elite v4.
Adios pro 4. Should be able to start finding some good sales on them. Especially in "uglier" colorway. Honestly a very versatile race shoe that will kill on a 5k as well.

Saucony Hurricane 24s for easy runs. Cushiony and supportive.
Saucony Endorphin Speed 4s and Adidas Boston 12s for tempo and intervals. The ES4s have 220+ miles on them and are becoming less snappy so I started rotating the B12s in a few weeks ago.
Adidas Adios Pro 4 for racing.
I wore Adios Pro 4's in the past 2 halves I've done. I don't think I would wear them for a full however, they destroy my calves. However, they are very very fast.
For me, the AP4 has such a soft heel, and only a 6mm drop so they are HARD on my calves. They are super fast, but my lower legs definitely feel beat up afterwards. I PR'd my last half (1:20:55) but the last 4-5km my calves were killing me. I don't think I could do a full marathon in them to be honest. I do really like them for 10ks and the half though.
I hope the pro 5 has a slightly more stiff heel, it would nearly be a perfect shoe for me then.
