SUPERBLAST 2
Marathon workhorse, but loud and clunky at slow paces.

Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
Adidas running shoes have been getting narrower in the forefoot. I had the duramo sl2 and it's the narrowest shoe I've ever owned. I would avoid.
Just a warning on the duramo sl2 is very narrow if you have a wide foot especially in the mid foot section, avoid this shoe.
Salesperson is not wrong, don't worry about speed as your beginnner shoes, look for something comfortable to wear that'll encourage you to keep the run going and build yourself up, and if you're just looking for consistency, your 2nd pair don't even have to be a fast shoes, just look for comfort to keep yourself going.... the speed will naturally evolve out of just doing the run, even at slow and steady pace. Also, don't have to go for something pricey like a saucony triumph, rather start off with cheaper comfortable shoes like Reebok Floatzig 1, Nike pegasus 40, adidas duramo SL2 to name a few. Also, do not listen to too many people here(ironic cuz you're reading this now lmao) a sizeable chunk of the people here are also a bit of a brand snobs, there are some brands that get severely overlooked as beginner daily shoes to get started. my feelings in here for these 2 brands: \-Reebok is wildly overlooked here, tho does get a lot of love when mentioned \-UA is trashed on way too much, way more then it deserves, it does have decent shoes for people starting off on running and their uppers are generally amazingly comfortable. Tbh, i do think UA should trim down their styles and focus on the few good ones they have instead of pumping out so many different styles that it cause uncertainty with consumers.
If it was me, I would look into the Adidas Duramo Speed 2 or Adidas Duramo SL 2...cheap options and decent shoes. I got a pair of the Duramo Speed 2 on sale for like 30 bucks on the Adidas app. I wear them for work and as a lifestyle shoe. White colorway with the black 3 stripes.
I would recommend any cheap shoes nanma fit mo, like any under 2k. Sadly sa mall, usually SRP. If OK sayo mag OL shopping, Lazada or Shopee has great sales, and yun under 2k is Nike Run Defy and Duramo SL, both are decent for beginners and great walk and run shoes š
I used to run on these when I started running in 2023. Used to be a good shoe. I have used Gel Soles from Frido, which made it even better. But then I used Adidas Duramo SL for runs. Last day, when I tried again to run in Contend4B+, and my pace dropped drastically, felt really low in response and running like in sand. Even though the Duramo isnt that great, I aint going back to Contend4B+. š„²
So, listen, dont go for nimbus. Since u are light, the heavy cushioning will make it uncomfortable for you. Dont rely on the sub recommendations blindly. I tired every recommendation, amd man, they were dking uncomfortable for me. You can check out my post. Fo your weight, go for duramo sl, runfalcon (cloudfoam), or nike rev 8.
