*Question from:* u/Flat_Olive8498 *How will the hyperboost running lineup evolve and how will hyperboost, lightstrike pro and dreamstrike + coexist? Will hyperboost replace dreamstrike?* Love this question. Adizero is built for speed, to break pbs , be fast and feel fast- to equip you for raceday or get ready for it, featured by Lightstrike Pro foam and energy rods. Hyperboost is built for max cushioning, high energy return resulting in a (non-plated) lightweight supertrainer- featured by Hyperboost Pro foam. Supernova is your daily trainer, with more supportive comfort , featured by Dreamstrike +. All can coexist in a shoe rotation or be used individually for their distinct purpose. I personally use Adizero Adios Pro for race day, Adizero Evo SL for fast training runs , and Supernova for easy runs, Hyperboost Pro ( I run a testing pair) became a staple for me in my rotation for various use cases, from short to long runs- the great thing it has that “hidden” gas pedal insight that you can always hit. If you need only one shoe Hyperboost Edge is a great choice.
Innovative new materials and technologies are always more costly to explore and produce. This can be plates as well as foams. Hyperboost Pro is the new innovative technology and experience unlock that gives the shoe its sensational feel.

Hyperboost Edge, our lightweight supertrainer. Made to run. Adizero is built to race.
What a great rotation you have! Hyperboost Edge is really a new start and as much as there is “Boost” in the name it is a whole new experience. Max cushioned, high energy return and super lightweight. So if you go for progressive long run and want to use this springiness in the end it is a great choice. Definitely a very versatile lightweight supertrainer. If you are traveling with only 1 shoe for two weeks , I would personally take it. We are going to build on it and will evolve this new dimension in our line up, while letting Adizero and Supernova be there for you. Adizero for race days and fast training sessions. And Supernova for the little bit of more support yet comfortable. all the best for your running journey.
It is built to give you that great energy return, maximum cushioning and feels super light - this results in running effortless, and making running easy. Technology enables this - and the shoe is truly fun to run. Supernova solution is a great ST version of the Supernova Rise - great thing about the Hyperboost Edge is, that its wider platform adapts to a brought array of striking patterns.
They work pretty good for me, but I got blood on my both achilles after 25k long run.
Yes I am midfoot striker, will give it a try with different socks and vaseline tho, because I liked these shoes
Dude I had the exact same experience as you. Bought it from the store off the hype, wanted to returned it immediately after the first run.
I bought the V1 and liked the bounce but they were too unstable for me. Always curious about the V2 which supposedly fixed that issue but was put off by the negative reviews. Maybe I’ll give them another look.
great shoe. Ran 5 in them only but they’re gonna be a great daily for me I can tell. It’s an EVO SL in max cushion shoe form, little more airy less bouncy foam but feels like a variation of lightstrike pro
I was able testing them today in our local runner shop and I directly loved them how they feel on the foot and could run shortly with them and the bounce you get back from them is incredible. That's my first super trainer comfy shoe (or however you will call them) and I am really curious how the will perform in my run tomorrow... My idea is using them for recovery / basic runs in 6:00 to 7:00 pace. I normally only run in True Motion shoes but these ones definitely felt so good that I breaked my rule not buying other shoes then my "home" brand. The guy in the shop gave me the NewBalance 1080 v15 for comparison. That one was also quite good but the running in the hyperboost was even better at least for me,also it provided me a bit more stability in it (my running was analyzed in both shoes). Once the foot was in the shoe for me it felt like "sofa" feeling... Look forward to the run tomorrow... Bit afraid of all the negative aspects others are facing with it but will see if this shoe fits for me... :-) Also I think it's always an individual thing and everyone needs to try it in a shop if possible...
Thank you! Just tested them today for an 8km run (~5 miles) with a moderate easy pace of 6:30 in average per km. Nice run and no issues (14 degrees celsius today here in Germany) and my feet didn't sweat at all. Still real comfy even that I have to get used to them. I could also increase my cadence (which I am currently trying to improve)... Will take them for a 15km run on Sunday to see how it will work out. Those "buffers" in the heel area might could get a problem on longer runs but hope it will not. In case those rub on the feet during longer runs getting them bleeding, that would definitely a shame and a show stopper... I just wanted to do 6km today for testing but running in them made so much fun that I didn't want to quit 😅
Few words about me: 181cm, \~90kg, heel striker, neutral gait. Running 60-90km per week. Currently training for sub 3:30 marathon in the fall. I try 30+ pairs of shoes per year (probably half end up sold after 1-2 runs). Usually, when so many shoe tubers are dropping videos with almost identical scripts, I tend to avoid the shoe until I see some real reviews, but I liked the Salomon S-lab colourway, so I thought they could be a good walking shoe if I didn't like the ride. I took them for 1 hour recovery run (around 6min/km). Upper: This is the most overengineered upper I have tried in a very long time. It feels like the designers focused more on looks over function. It was 10 C outside, and my feet started sweating after 15 minutes. Even with heavier gusts of wind, I could not feel it. And instead of being plush (which I assume was the goal) the upper is just thick and rough. If my run was longer than an hour, I would end up with blisters just under my ankle bones, where the upper was just digging in. Laces are typical Adidas, so not great. And if you are Stryd runner, the design completely blocks the wind sensor. Midsole: When something is called Hyperboost, I expect solid energy return, but this cushioning feels more like sinking in wet sand. Yes, the impact is dampened, but you get very little back. I guess it is ok if you want an easy, slow jog, but there are so many better (and cheaper) options out there. **\[edit\]** I guess my comment on the midsole was controversial and also not best phrased, so here is a clarification. The foam feels bouncy overall, but the combination of shoe geometry and my heel striking makes me feel like I have to fight the shoes, leading to the sinking feeling mentioned above. This does not seem to be an issue for people who front or mid-foot strike. Outsole: No issues there. I run on wet, slippery surfaces (wood and glass) without issue. While I am not the biggest fan of Evo SL (it is a good but overhyped shoe), it is far superior to Hyperboost. I did not try PrimeX V3, but V2 is definitely more fun and a better shoe. And if you want something that really offers protection and bounce Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra absolutely destroys Hyperboost. Sadly, even as a walk-around shoe, it will not work for me because the upper is a mess. The only consolation is that in Japan they are 150 USD and I likely will be able to sell them used, close to that because of the hype and artificial scarcity. I strongly recommend trying them out in a shop (ideally on a treadmill) before spending the cash.
They are actually more bouncy when walking (I think the midsole geometry just doesn't work for me), but unfortunately, they will not work for me as walking shoes because the collar would destroy my sin aroud my ankles
Mine arrived yesterday and took them for 8 miles at daily paces ranging from 7:30-8:30 minute miles. Totally agree with your comments about the warm upper, it was a sunny day and they are indeed a warm shoe which is an odd design choice. However, I loved the midsole and underfoot feel of these. On par with the Megablast for me (just based on first impressions) in terms of the energetic bounce I felt (have about 180 miles in the Megablast). I found the upper more comfortable too, despite being very warm! it’s more foot hugging and supportive rather than minimalistic like in the Megablast. Also had 60 miles into the Superblast 3 and sold them because they were too soft. I much prefer the Hyperboost Pro midsole to the SB3 setup. I am 80kg and a mid-forefoot striker so maybe that helps in regards to enjoying them.
Thanks bud! And yes good shout on the sizing based on listed length in cm. An update on the above, just been for my second run in the Hyperboosts, 7 miles today and my word they are so warm. They really do not breathe at all. It seems silly to sell a shoe because of breathability when I enjoy the ride of them so much but I’m really contemplating it. Couldn’t wait to get them off my feet due to heat, really frustrating!
