Gt 1000 is for stability and excite is no good. I'm using cumulus 23,bought them during big billion sale last diwali they are very durable. I do 5k 4x week. If brand is no issue for you and your shoe size is uk7 check out puma foreverrun nitro they are selling them for around 6.5k on Myntra.

Oh okay thank you so much!! I'll keep that in mind. Currently im using the gel cumulus for running and they've been great so far. So Im just looking for a good pair of shoes for daily casual walks

Hands down, Revitalign shoes are the best! Every pair of their shoes includes an orthotic insert. Their footwear provides a deep heel cup for great support. I used to only wear ASICS. The Gel Kayano and Cumulus were my go-to, until I tried out Revitalign Gaia. There's no comparison.

I wanted them, because they have a wider toe box and I also had to size up half a number from my Asics Gel Cumulus. I only use them for treadmill, and like them so far.

My experience with carbon plated shoes has been they make multiple paces feel easier than non plated shoes. My race day shoe is the Saucony Endorphin Pro 4. I find that a 9 minute pace feels easier in them than my Asics Cumulus or my New Balance Rebel. They also make a 6:30 pace feel easier. I can’t quantify the benefit, but I can feel the plate working as I hit the ground and toe off. And that doesn’t change if I increase or decrease the pace. Everyone is different, of course and whether or not YOU find them worth it will ultimately come down to how you feel in them. But at the end of the day they’re just shoes. They aren’t some magical thing to be placed on a pedestal. They are just a tool.

I would say try another Asics model in the wide fit to compare. Like a GT or Cumulus. I’d be worried the right foot would not feel as secure as the left since it is not as wide as the left.

For neutral runners, Asics Novablast, Cumulus, Pulse, Excite - in that order depending on which one you may afford. I’ve a Cumulus and I’ve run 500 km in them. I could do the same in Pulse too, it’s good as well based on experiences I read online.
