Asics Gel Cumulus 26/27 or Gel Nimbus 26/27 depende sa budget at kung ano nakasale. New Balance 1080v14 madalas nagsasale sa Shopee pero narrow width ibibigay sayo. Saucony Triumph 22 / Hurricane 24 currently on sale din. Nike Vomero 18 kung makahanap ka pa ng colorway na gusto mo nagsasale din. Highly cushioned / stacked tong mga to so kung gusto mo medyo firm or ramdam mo pa din yung ground then Adidas Adizero SL2 or Nike Pegasus 41 which madalas din magsale.
I have Gel- Cumulus 26. My weekly mileage is 25-30km. I run Daily. Eventually planning for a HM. Will I be able to do HM in Cumulus is it fine for it ? Or it's more of daily trainer and I should have a race day shoe? ( if yes please suggest)
6'2" 240lbs previously and I used the Asics Cumulus 25 for every type of running from sprints to 8 mile runs and they held up great for 348 miles as I trimmed down to 180 lbs over a six month period. Unfortunately the Cumulus 25s are hard to find now as they were replaced by the Cumulus 26s, which are not made for heavy people. I have switched over to Asics Novablast 4s and the New Balance FuelCell Rebel V4 now that I'm down in weight.
Just speculation, but if it was still available at MSRP, the Xiaonian Regular daily trainer? Velocity 4 Worst this year (2024 release date): Cumulus 26, only shoe out of many that actively tried to injure me.
There's multiple subreddits: /r/AskRunningShoeGeeks and /r/RunningShoeGeeks that may be worth perusing. I have wide feet (I'm not a man), and can tell you to just skip Adidas entirely. I like New Balance (have had a couple 880s) and liked them lots, and I'm currently in the Asics Gel Cumulus 26. There's more aspects to running shoes though, like whether you want/need stability etc so if you have the ability to get to a specialty running shoe store I'd recommend it.
I got a good 7 month's out of the asics gel cumulus 26. Before my toes poked through the mesh on the toes. Seriously comfy shoes though.
ASICS gel cumulus are fantastic.. ended up buying another pair of 26’s and the 27’s recently. Looking into buying an extra pair soon. Definitely go to a store and get fitted though. Although it took me a few tries to find a sales associate who knew what they were doing. My feet change with my weight so right now they’re a lil chunky. Ended up going back to half a size up and normal width instead of normal size and wide and my high arches are happy now.
during sales asics cumulus and nimbus are under 5k ... get those they are neutral shoes .. and dont use your running shoes other than for running
Oh okay thank you so much!! I'll keep that in mind. Currently im using the gel cumulus for running and they've been great so far. So Im just looking for a good pair of shoes for daily casual walks
My experience with carbon plated shoes has been they make multiple paces feel easier than non plated shoes. My race day shoe is the Saucony Endorphin Pro 4. I find that a 9 minute pace feels easier in them than my Asics Cumulus or my New Balance Rebel. They also make a 6:30 pace feel easier. I can’t quantify the benefit, but I can feel the plate working as I hit the ground and toe off. And that doesn’t change if I increase or decrease the pace. Everyone is different, of course and whether or not YOU find them worth it will ultimately come down to how you feel in them. But at the end of the day they’re just shoes. They aren’t some magical thing to be placed on a pedestal. They are just a tool.
