For your weight I suggest the cumulus 28 instead. A little heavier than the novablast 5, butnsame foam. It's pretty comfy, super stable, and it doesn't sink in.
It’s definitely because you’re a heavier runner. I also considered the Novablast 5 as my first premium running shoe but my heel was sinking on the foam so I ended up picking a kayano 32. I would have personally picked a cumulus 28 or gt-2000 14 instead. Found the cumulus 28 very good for my weight.

Hands down, Revitalign shoes are the best! Every pair of their shoes includes an orthotic insert. Their footwear provides a deep heel cup for great support.
I used to only wear ASICS. The Gel Kayano and Cumulus were my go-to, until I tried out Revitalign Gaia. There's no comparison.
I wanted them, because they have a wider toe box and I also had to size up half a number from my Asics Gel Cumulus.
I only use them for treadmill, and like them so far.
