I'm using the Asics N26! It feels pretty good overall. I use it for daily running and walking. The cushioning is very friendly.

I had a very similar experience at runners needs. Training for my first race and I was told gel kayano were the right option for me. Think it was the 26 back then. Rock hard and hated running so much it turned me off for years as I kept getting leg and foot cramps. Bought some novablast after googling the most popular running shoe and suddenly running felt fun 😂

I also came from Kayanos - 27, 28 and 30. I asked this same question when looking to build my first shoe rotation. Saucony tempus has been great, will definitely get the 2 at some point. I appreciate the stability when really working hard. But also consider relatively stable neutral shoes. I also have the Asics Novablast 4 and Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 and they've been fine. I also tried on the New Balance rebel v4 but found the softer foam felt unstable. So yeah - Tempus, but also consider some neutral shoes. Remember, pronation is natural and is only a problem if you feel discomfort after running.

r/Marathon_TrainingDo I really need two pairs of shoes for marathon training?

Most of my runs are boring. So I use thick shoes for safety.  I do have a Boston 12 for my faster running. It is more fun to use! But I only use them like once a week. The rest of the runs are on boring shoes (kayano, 1080)

You can find asics nimbus or gel kayano for 5.5k if may malapit sayo outlet. Or new balance 1080 or more. Pede din puma magmax. Heavy side din ako, while I like to explore Chinese brands, preference ko din ung matry ko.

If you want stability the gel kayano or hurricane are probably safe bets.

I wear Asic Gel Kayanos or Nike Pegasus to the gym but they’re more for running. It’s hard for me because I do cardio + strength. I would ideally prefer a thinner flatter shoe for lifting but I prefer to keep my feet comfortable for the running segment

I’m a beginner runner and went to my local run store to get fitted and the ASIC Kayanos were one that they pulled for me and I picked! I can’t remember the other two but they were so squishy I felt like I would roll an ankle and fall over. OP def try to go get fitted and try on a bunch of pairs! I went to Fleet Feet and the assessment was free and I tried on 3 pairs of shoes that were for my foot and gait.l and picked the pair that felt the best! They also had a good return policy

Asics. Exclusively. Great motion control shoe and the Kayano/ Nimbus are legendary comfortable.

What you wanna do is get two pairs. A stability shoe, brooks glycerin gts or asics gel kayano And stable neutral shoe. Superblast 2 and rotate between both. Always running in stability shoes is not a good idea, but rotation is a good idea. I overpronate on the left foot and get shin splints. I run neutral, saucony ride 17, when I can feel my shin splints starting I switch to stability till healed. Then back.
