I have keyano 30 and 31. The 32s are available for pre order right now though

Pretty sure I actually have the basic version they are wide enough on their own which is shocking because I really have wide flat pancake feet lol

Went through 2 pairs of the Kayano 30s. Moved to Hurricanes and am happier - cushioned but not marshmallowy soft.

I’m a 100% ASICS guy. They just work for me. It’s unreasonable for sure but I have a Kayano 30, Novablast 5, Superblast 2 and tomorrow my Megablast should arrive. Nova is mostly what I use on the Treadmill in the gym (keeping them clean, not really using them outside), Superblast is my go to for outside/ long runs. Kayano for recovery. Probably there isn’t a hole in that which would really justify the Megablast, but I’m just too curious so I went for it.

I started in stability (ASICS Kayano) and they helped me with my knee pain. But after some months I transitioned to Superblast 2 and Novablast 4 - I think by then I had built up the strength I was lacking before that made me need the stability. Now I’m okay running in neutral shoes on half marathon distance. When I’m tired I switch back to the Kayano for stability and a smaller drop. So maybe the answer to your question is “no”.

I also will recommend Kayano's. I use the 30 and I love them.

They're my favourite in my rotation which is currently the Novablast 5, SuperComp v3 and Kayano 30 as well as the Vomero Plus

210lbs here and I'm using the Asics Gel Kayano 30's and genuinely love them. I haven't been this hooked on running since high school.

Honestly, for sub-5 mile runs, the Gel-Kayano 30s are solid. Tons of stability without feeling like bricks, and the FlyteFoam midsole absorbs impact way better than older Asics models. I swap mine in and out for treadmill sprints, and my knees finally stopped yelling at me.

I personally wouldn’t pick the Endorphin Speed or the Mach X, only because I don’t think a plated trainer makes sense if you’re primarily on the treadmill. What’s worked best for me on a treadmill has been a good amount of cushion and rocker. The Nimbus or Novablast would both be fine options, but the Glideride Max is also worth checking out. I did a ton of treadmill miles on Kayano 30s when I first started out. I had some overpronation issues, and using those shoes while focusing on my form and strengthening the stabilizing muscles helped me improve my stride and move away from the need for stability shoes. If you have stability issues, the Kayano 32 wouldn’t be a bad place to start.

I would personally go with something like this: Glideride Max: Recovery/Daily Superblast 2 or Megablast: Long Run/Daily Sonicblast: Speed You could throw a pair of Novablasts in there to rotate as daily's or a pair of Kayanos for easy/recovery runs. One thing to note about the Novablasts is they do best with a good amount of recovery time (>24hours) between uses. The FF Blast Max foam seems to lose its pop a lot quicker if you use it every day. I can feel it to a lesser degree in my Gliderides, which have a combo of Blast Max and Blast+.

I think few peoples were saying that it does soften up but it never really did it for me. Still have a pair now and took it off again last week and ended up with knee pain on my first run. Done few longer runs in past -14-16km and god my feet were broken for 2-3 days after. It just never worked for me. I don’t necessarily need a lot of stability but I do lot of easy running and anything softer/unstable is causing some discomfort / ankle pain after couple of weeks. Use supernova prima mainly now for easy and not had any problems at all - not stability shoe necessarily but presto stable and not that soft either. Used GT2000, Kayano 30 saucony guide before - never had same problems like in Tempus.
