I strongly suggest visiting any Asics store! Most of the Indians usually have flat feet, lower arches, wider feet, and even suffer from inward pronation of the ankle. If you have none of the above issues (firstly analyze) Then I can blindly suggest you cumulus first and then nimbus for cloud like feel or even noosa tri for starters But anybody else with flat feet! Stick with only the 3 shoes from Asics GT -1000 especially 1000-14 ( Slight pronation). my favourite! GT - 2000 for more pronounced pronation ( might even feel weird first to wear it) Gel Kayano for pro and high mileage runners with flat feet or over pronation issues. Last year 13 models from GT and gel kayano 31 would be available for half their original price. You can thank me later! Once you try GT-1000 14! All the flat footers will not be able to go back.

Yeah, Kiprun is worth a try if it feels comfortable. Asics Jolt or Jog 100 are also solid beginner options. Fit matters more than the brand so go with whatever feels easiest on your feet.

I have 2 pairs of Adidas ADISTARs that I alternate between when I know I'll be standing and/or walking on concrete all day. They have some covering over the mesh in the toe area unlike the Asics GT1000s which I have also worn several pairs of in the past. I was fortunate to find both pairs marked down.

Flat footer here. I've been wearing gel kayanos for over 10 years. Through half marathons and OTF. I love them. Only complaint is that the sizing seemed to change (ran smaller) for the pair I bought in 2023 vs all others. I haven't tried the GT-2000, but the GT-1000 was horrible for my feet. I have some now that I may just use in the house for videos, but would never wear them for high impact.

The ASICS Superblast are not for overpronators, a stance also held by ASICS, who design stability shoes for this purpose. For specific support, ASICS offers stability shoes like the GEL-Kayano and GT-1000.

Novablast not nearly as stable as the gt-1000s though, no?

I just picked up a pair of Asics GT-1000s on vinted for 25 quid. Looks like they were worn briefly but otherwise immaculate. Even the outlets had them at 60+ quid

I'm a heavier runner who has had stability issues previously leading to runners knee/IT Band issues. For the past while I've used Asics GT-1000s as my daily. They aren't speedy but whilst I've been building a base they've kept me running pain free.

I'm a little heavier than you 93-95kg and I picked up a pair of Adizero Boston 13 this year for speed work. Have taken chunks out of my 5k and 10k pbs in them and am considering using them for my race day shoe for my first Half in November. Coming from a background in Ascis GT-1000s over the years, the Bostons have made running fun again!

Gt 1000 is for stability and excite is no good. I'm using cumulus 23,bought them during big billion sale last diwali they are very durable. I do 5k 4x week. If brand is no issue for you and your shoe size is uk7 check out puma foreverrun nitro they are selling them for around 6.5k on Myntra.
