Marathon workhorse, but loud and clunky at slow paces.

I used to love the Noosa tris but since the 14s the foam has degraded incredibly quickly to the point I wear holes in the soles after only a couple hundred miles. They are an incredible shoe, at FIRST. For the price point and the rate at which they wear out I’ve had to search for a different shoe, but have t yet found one that fits as well as the Noosa Tri did. Best shoe in the world were my Noosa Tri 9s. And I love the insane colors they do on these. Maybe you will have better luck with them
I bought Noosa Tri 14 for less than 5k from Flipkart. Steal value. Had to return them unfortunately as they were quite narrow.
Nice review. We have very similar height/weight/paces, basically the same. I want to pick up this shoe, but tough to justify it, I already have too many low-mileage easy running shoes ha. Maybe I can snatch one some time down the road on a discount. Slightly off topic, but very curious - what other shoes do you have in rotation, which ones do you enjoy most? Especially in terms of holding up to our weight - ride and/or durability. Edit: OK, I see your flair haha. How do you like Adios 9 for instance? I thought these would be not enough cushioned for our weight
I have Evo SL, love it as well. Glad to hear they're holding up fine after 450k. I take all 'review after 800k' with a grain of salt at 88kg or so. My Noosa Tri 14 were dead after 250k, granted those foams don't have the best longevity cred, but still. And yeah, Evo SL is a very good do-it-all shoe, agreed, although I'd have to stay very alert to not make easy go into threshold with that one :D Thanks for input. I will keep tabs on VN4 and DE3/4, have never tried a Puma running shoe as of yet.
>While substantially better at taking on long runs than past versions, it still is not a shoe I want to have on my feet for more than 75 minutes. Which have you tried? I have run about 2h 15minutes with my noosa tri 14, its the shoe I would choose for long runs if I would maximize the comfort. Wonder if this means that these new ones are less comfortable.
I have the 14s and absolutely love them
This was my first real running shoe. Ran in them exclusively for years. 14, 15, 16. Great versatile shoe. When my last pair died I went to the store and tried on the Megablast though and that was that.
I used to be fully monogamous with Noosa Tris. It's only in the last 6 months that we agreed to start seeing other people. IMO they are a great and affordable all rounder. I will probably pick up a new pair to throw into daily rotation pairing with NB5 and Megas
This is what I just used for a 10k. Paired with NB5 and Megas for training. Worked well for me.
