Yesssss. I've had all the Noosa's from 13-16. My two favourites have been 13 and 16, they are very different, 13 was firmer and good for short efforts, 16 had been my go to for daily miles under 10-12k. Absolutely love them, I think you've nailed the description, I can just put them on and go with no worries. Great for taking on holiday as can do a variety of miles, can't wait for 17 to come out so I can get another pair of 16s cheap.

14’s were perfection, heel counter on the 16 agitates my Achilles
Fully agreed. Like mine too do everything below HM. Lovely fun shoe. Half size up is correct. And I like to use it as rain shoe. Good grip and dries up recently well. Indeed a lovely shoe ❤️
hey! i run in the noosa 16 too. 😎
I can happily take these to 20km but I am a lightweight person. Love these for summer running especially
I ordered both MS3 and MS4 together. The MS3 felt snug, nimble and fast. MS4 felt like too much volume, heavier and slow for the same size. Returned the MS4. The noosa tri 16 feels much better than a MS4.
Full disclosure: I loved the Novablast 3, tolerated the Novablast 4, and hated the Novablast 5. I adore my Superblast 2 from threshold pace to slightly slower than marathon pace. The shortest/fastest race I would consider wearing them would be a 10k, but I would not prefer them to other shoes at that distance. If you are looking at non-plated trainers, have you considered the Asics Noosa Tri 16 for those distances? I am not sure about the durability of these, however.
They don't have the stack height, softness, or energy return of the NB5. But they have way better grip than any of the Novablasts, and are well over an ounce lighter. They have a somewhat wider and taller toebox. They definitely run significantly firmer than the NB5, but I prefer that for shorter/faster races. The Noosa colorways are polarizing, but there are a few that I really like.
My only complaint was they felt like they went dead really early. The forefoot foam on mine compressed at like 200miles
A little late to the party but a Noosa Tri 16/Magic Speed 4/Superblast 2 runner here. I use the NT16 for intervals and uptempo daily miles, the MS4 for longer tempo and threshold work and the SB2 for my longer runs at easy to tempo paces. The NT16 doubles as a 5k race shoe for me, whilst the MS4 is my 10k-HM race shoe at the moment. I’d steer away from the MS4 and SB2 for 5k racing as the stack height can feel a little large when really going for it. And the NT16 is perfectly fine up to 15k but you’re aware of the lack of protection underfoot from about 8k onwards. That’s just what works for me and my opinion on those shoes. Take it all with a pinch of salt!
It truly is. I enjoyed it a lot and I used it as a do it all. Now that I am rotating between tempo/workouts shoe and easy run shoe I am on a Noosa Tri 16 for faster stuff and on a Mizuno Wave Skyrise 04 for easy stuff
