For Brooks, I would also recommend checking out their [Restart program](https://restart.brooksrunning.com/) which is basically like an outlet offering shoes at a really good discount. They will tell you if the shoes are in brand new condition or gently used.. I believe these are the shoes that get returned as they have a very generous return policy. Last year, I got my Glycerin 21 shoes for $75 in brand new condition :)
Ahh my b. I would also recommend brooks glycerin 21. I like them as well. I know brooks has more cushiony shoes tho.
I’m a big fan of the brooks glycerin and glycerin max. The max has more cushioning but the regular glycerin is also quite cushioned. Both are super comfy imo and have helped me build up miles as a beginner
No I’ve liked both. I actually bought the glycerin 21 without much high hopes with it on sale thinking I’d much prefer the Nike’s and saucony I got at the same time. I continually was reaching for the glycerin over those and when I saw the glycerin max on sale I decided to give them a try. Really like them I don’t think you’d go wrong with either
I have had the the brooks glycerin 21 and the brooks glycerin max and I have thoroughly enjoyed both. Got the max thinking the 21’s were almost done since they were at 400 miles but they’ve continued to serve me well
I usually find great deals (though not necessarily great colors lol) by looking on Amazon for earlier models of popular shoes. For instance, I love the Brooks Glycerin, and they recently came out with a "22," which is $169. Right now, the Brooks Glycerin 21 is around a hundred bucks. And it's a GREAT running shoe.
i have 3! brooks glycerin 18, 21, and then a pair of new balance 1080s :) i only road run but i kind of wish i had trail runners… i just need to make it out to nearby trails more.
I’ve never had the glycerin max, but I have had the glycerin 19, 20 and 21 they all worked out great for me

I love the Glycerin 21, I haven't tried the 22 yet but I've heard they are even better. I've put 1200km in two pairs of the Glycerin 21 through all 4 seasons and it is my favorite shoes.
I really like my Brooks. In particular the Glycerin 21’s. They are the only running shoe that doesn’t feel tight in the toe box for me.
As others have said: go to a running store if you can. BUT BE VERY AWARE THAT THEY TRY TO PUSH STABILITY SHOES ON EVERYONE. You might actually need them, but you might not. Just remember above all else, listen to your feet whilst testing them. And wear the socks that you would wear when running. Running socks are worth it, but that is another topic. As a fellow wide foot runner (2E), I have had luck with glycerin 21 2E, novablast 4 2E, novablast 5 I was actually good just going up an extra 0.5 size in D, and Adidas Adios Pro 3. If you have the money and like how it feels, the On Cloudmonster Hyper is probably the widest D shoe I have ever worn. New balance I only had luck with the width on the rebel V4 2E, but I also have an issue with how new balance incorporates their logo on the side; it always seems to dig into my foot. Also runrepeat.com is a fantastic resource. They have articles for suggestions on different kinds of shoes, but you can also go into the articles for each one and see the breakdown of everything about the shoes.
I love the brooks glycerin 21! So comfy, I wear them any chance I get when I’m not running
