Something that does well in worse weather too. I use craft ctm 3 for travel. Does city and trail well.
https://www.craftsports.us/collections/hybrid-shoes I have had all three versions of the CTM Ultra and I’ve enjoyed them. They are on the firmer side, but very light and nimble, responsive, work very well on the road and can manage moderate trails easily. I have the Nordlite Ultra as well. It’s a slightly softer, smoother ride, but not as meaty for the trails. The xplore has gotten good reviews but I’ve not run in it. There are likely other selections in the other sections (most of their shoes are road to trail except for some newer road only), but these are what they are marketing as road to trail. Depending on where you are, there are considerably less expensive places to buy Craft shoes (Backcountry generally has a good selection for far less than what Craft is charging). Craft also has sales frequently and you can get 15% off for your first order. I’ve tried a lot of road to trail shoes. Most that can manage the trails tend to be very heavy and mediocre on the road. Or there are road shoes that may be less terrible on trails than other road shoes. Craft shoes are the only ones that I have actually enjoyed on road and trail.
I love Craft CTM Ultra for this. They are truly lightweight and perform really well on the roads. They are decent at most not too technical trails as well. Lots of hybrids don’t really run as performance shoes on the roads, or they are mediocre on trails. Craft has kind of nailed the mix (at least for me).
