The first time I used them, they destroyed my feet. Then I managed to adapt to them and I like them quite a bit.

Kiprun have never been good on the lacing part of the shoe. If think it's a place where they have to cut corner to keep prices low other than that they always deliver and punch above their weight ! I have the kipstoem interval (kd900 light Wich was it's former name) and I absolutely love them ! I might get tempted by the tempo!

These are very good value, in my opinion - and the closest decathlon have gotten to even approaching a normal fit (I swear they think people have baguettes for feet, so long and skinny!).

Yeah I find them very unstable and the can irritate my achillies and hallucis longus - but it's a lot of shoe for so little money!

Yeah, Kiprun is worth a try if it feels comfortable. Asics Jolt or Jog 100 are also solid beginner options. Fit matters more than the brand so go with whatever feels easiest on your feet.

Im 47 (m) and on over 1500miles for 2025. Decathlon 'kiprun' have changed my life... unreal quality and best price in the market. I use Hoka GTX for winter runs but if its dry where you are, kiprun are unbeatable. Good luck

Honestly, the Kalenji is the best in here that's light on the feet and the pocket. It's very very very comfortable and long lasting. The easiest to wash, dries quickly. Complete all rounder.
