Personally a huge fan of Superblast 2 and Gel Nimbus for long/recovery runs. Have had over 400miles on SB2 and they still feel new-ish albeit a bit less cushiony. Nimbus 27 feels great out of box and heavier so perfect for recovery. I also just bought a pair of Li-Ning Red Hare 8Pro for tempo - it’s marketed as a tempo/interval training shoes, and on my test runs, it feels light and a bit more aggressive so more suitable for speed workouts. And honestly at $50-80 a pair the foam sole does not look very durable (past 250 miles) to me but it could be a budget option.

Have the red hare pro 8. Its a nice shoe. I have a wide midfoot and it fits okay, toebox isn't too restrictive although it's shallow in height for me. I suspect most Chinese shoes are like that. Bmai carbon fly fits better for me on the midfoot

Honestly if you just want something cheap and versatile the Li Ning red hare 8 pro can be had for $35-50 delivered on TaoBao (it has an app and international shipping for a lot of international markets now) and it's a super versatile, bouncy and lightweight shoe that's miles better than these imo I've also heard great things about the puma velocity nitro 4 and it's apparently meant to be the best in class Amongst western brands.

Honestly get neither and go for a li ning red hare 8/9 pro. Arguably better than both and literally like $40 if you can be bothered to go through TaoBao

Evo SL or Red Hare 8 pro. The latter being a great budget option while offering great quality. I was actually surprised how much quality you get from these given the low price tag.

I really enjoyed Boom fiber on my last few Li-Ning shoes. If you want a plated shoes you could try Li-Ning Feidian 5 Challenger since they're less than 1/2 price of any other model you listed. I'm running 12-16 km with them 4 days a week and they're GREAT. Best shoe i've ever used. I'm expecting to get over 1000km on them as they don't show any sign of wear at 300/400km. Red Hare 8 pro would also be a great choice. Don't get the non pro version, they're bad and unresponsive.

For something slightly left field but amazing none the less, check out the Li-ning Red Hare 8 Pro. Fantastic PEBA based Chinese daily trainer with a lower stack. Crazy cheap compared to Western brands too.

All 3x Li-Ning shoes I've tried so far have been excellent (Yueying 5, Red Hare 8 Pro, Feidian 5 Challenger). After also considering Xtep and Qiaodan, I've now ordered an Anta C202 on the 11.11 sale, very curious to check it out. BMAI, Do-Win, and Dynafish also seem good, but are smaller and not as easily available.

I also own and RH8Pro and F5C in the same nominal size. I find the RH8Pro upper has a noticeably narrower mid foot, would you say so, too? The F5C indeed is more normal fitting in the mid foot and the toe box.

Li-ning red hare 8 pro - I've only just started running in them and I was incredibly impressed as a Endorphin Speed / Evo SL loyalist; it easily stands with them in terms of comfort, energy return and versatility.

If you like the C5, I think the Red Hare 8 Pro would be a great choice for a daily. It’s only about $40 (or less) right now since the 9 Pro just released. I like them so much I bought 3 for rotation.

Doesn't compare to this shoe I've had both and I sent my red hare pro 8 back as was very disappointed with it

Red hare 8 pro is heavier even though it's lower stack uses a inferior older tech foam with a poor outsole that isn't durable, was a very disappointing shoe for me.  Kiprun is faster, lighter bouncer, propels you fwd, has top tier ATPU foam and very good durable outsole and grip. It's been recently compared to the ASICS superblast which is over double the price by the run testers and both reviewers preferred the Kiprun. The two shoes are worlds apart in terms of performance and quality of build
