NB Rebel V5 for me in 2E works beautifully with enough toe splay NB 1080 2E also felt good Vomero in Extra Wide still felt a touch narrow at the toe box. Nikes are seriously bad for wide foot folks. Dynafish Xiaonian has a surprisingly wide midfoot. Asics Nimbus, Cumulus in 4E is wide enough in front but something felt off about the fit for me compared to New Balance 2E
Adidas evo sl boston adios4 would be my line up 2nd New balance 1080 v5 more elite
Tbh their 2Es work better for me than any other major running brand's standard option. but I still have to go up half a size. I like Brooks but they lag in technology (NB carbon plates are elite).
I'm 5'9", 140lbs, and wear US10.5. Sizing up just makes me look absolutely ridiculous. This is why I've been buying New Balance for the last few years. In my country, NB and Nike are pretty much the only brands that consistently sells wide shoes.
I'm from the Philippines and they do sell Saucony here but only through a couple of authorized retailers so availability isn't great. I have a pair of standard sized Endorphins which have been good but I found that 2E New Balance shoes fit a lot better.
Not for me. 10-12km is all I can do in Superblast or I get blisters. NB 2E are great
I like to recommend Hokas as a good beginner runner shoe. They're versatile and have fun colors. I started off with the Hoka Clifton 9s for running 5k distances/easier runs. Eventually upgraded to the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080s for my half marathons and they've been my favorite race shoe so far!
I like to try different brands each time - I am pretty new to running so haven’t tried a ton. But a couple months ago I got the Saucony Endorphin Speed shoes and oh my god I LOVE them. I’ve also tried and liked (but not loved) New Balance fresh foam 1080s (good for easy training runs), ASICS Novablast 5 (another good daily trainer) but the Sauconys have blown the others out of the water. I can run a fast (for me!) 5k in them or run a long 10 miles in them. I love that they are light and also have some cushion. But they just feel so fast. Highly recommend! Also recommend going to a running store and having them evaluate your gait and give suggestions. That’s how I got my Saucony shoes!
880s felt harder to me, which lead to foot pain i liked 1080s much better
I’m sold. Transitioned from New Balance 1080s to super blasts for my daily trainers. They are pricey but worth it.
I also deal with plantar fasciitis. I’ve run in New Balance 1080s for the last two years, and just switched to the Nike Vomero Plus. The Vomero Plus’ feel fantastic; not too soft and not unstable but with plenty of bounce. I also take fish oil supplements and find that it helps my plantar fasciitis quite a bit.
