SUPERBLAST 2
Marathon workhorse, but loud and clunky at slow paces.
Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
They SB2 will get softer if youre used to the ultra mushiness of the NB5 though then just hope it gets better for you.
Adidas evo sl boston adios4 would be my line up 2nd New balance 1080 v5 more elite
What is your experience in the midfoot width for the base? My one complain with V1 was that the midfoot base was narrow making it not ideal for low to no arch runners (I steered towards NB5 wide for that reason). Other reviews say they fit the same. Is that true?
Saucony triump 23 and endorphin speed 5 have worked really well for me. I like NB 1080 but it is a bit on heavier side so rebel v5 might be good but I don’t find them stable. ASICS have a good base so they work fine as well (SB2 is a good option) Megablast have narrow toe box so will need half a size up. The 2 shoe brands to avoid with narrow midfoot are puma and adidas (this has been my experience with flat feet but still not very wide feet - I fit into normal width in most shoes except brooks).
I don't have a massive amount of experience with running shoes, think I used 5 throughout the years and I have 3 now that I picked up running again but I really like the NB5.
I have wide feet which measure about 10.4cm with the length of 26.5cm. I highly recommend new balance 4e shoes they are comfy for running.
I'm 5'9", 140lbs, and wear US10.5. Sizing up just makes me look absolutely ridiculous. This is why I've been buying New Balance for the last few years. In my country, NB and Nike are pretty much the only brands that consistently sells wide shoes.
I'm from the Philippines and they do sell Saucony here but only through a couple of authorized retailers so availability isn't great. I have a pair of standard sized Endorphins which have been good but I found that 2E New Balance shoes fit a lot better.
