188 cm and 100 kgs, here, I love my New Balance Kaiha Roads which I wear for weighted vest walking/jogging and am going to be expanding on the NB love for my next couple pairs with longer distances planned. They're plush but responsive. My foot also tends to splay and the wide toebox is super comfortable for that reason.

I love New Balance Fresh Foam x More V4, it’s super cushioned and helps my feel and shins feel good when on a long run. I also have the NB Kaiha Road Runner shoes and they’re also comfy!

Your best bet would be to get fitted at a running store. With that said, as a heavier person the only sneakers I wear are New Balance. I go through phase of which ones I like. My current favorite (I have 8-10 pairs of them!) is a model called Kaiha Road. They feel amazing and they are cheaper than the other running shoes. My favorite for running used to be the New Balance 1080 but I found the newer versions were way too cushioned for me. These are cushioned but a bit firmer. I also like the NB 680 for walking- not running. There is a website called joesnewbalance.com that is a New Balance outlet. These shoes are currently on sale for about $50 (or they were).

Definitely not Asics Gel Nimbus. Clunky, heavy, uncomfortable blocks on my feet. About 100 miles in & struggling to run more than 5k easy run in these awful shoes. I won't buy asics again. My new balance are very comfortable though. Great daily trainer is New Balance Kaiha. I'm buying the evo sl next.
