Tried some New Balance More. The newest version. The amount is cushioning is almost scary. Might even be too much. Afraid to loose the feel of running with so much cushioning. Is that something that makes sense? I'll check out the Hola models!
Try the Adidas Evo SL, it is fairly soft and bouncy. If you want the same sort of foam as in the More, go with the NB 1080. If you really just like the More, which is a fine shoe though very heavy and slow, try the new More v6. The new Asics Megablast may also work for you, it is softer than the Superblast. You could also try the Puma MagMax and Mizuno NeoVista2. In general I would go to a store and just try things on. Look for a shoe with a good stack height, no plate, and try in particular A-TPU. I would also suggest you try the Adidas Adizero Pro 4, which is a very soft foam, and has rods, not plates. You may not have the pain with just the rods. This is a less stable shoe though, so it may or may not work for you.
New Balance More v6, comfy kahit 6'30 pace ok lang pero more than that nakakapagod na. Isa pa, mabigat. 315g 9US (M) hindi ko pa naitakbo more than 5km pero susubukan ko next long run. Zero to non-noticeable drop kaya medyo awkward noong first run ko kasi nasanay ako sa >6mm drop shoes. Overall satisfied naman ako, pwedeng pang easy daily runs or recovery runs.
Sizing: Size 11.5, normally size 11. Fit: Plenty of room in the toe box and definitely good width, which is why I sized up⦠Iāve been running in 11s and as I run more I appreciate a tad more room. Distance Ran: Was planning to run a slow 5k, but these were definitely a bit faster than the 18s, so I picked up the pace to more of a fast 5k. I bought these to replace/give a break to my Vomero 18s, which are my top shoe for long/easy runs currently. Notes: Just like the 18s, the maximum cushioning is very nice⦠being that they are full zoom, they definitely were noticeably faster⦠which I love! They felt extremely stable and felt ābroken inā upon my first run⦠Iām sure they will get even better with time, but I was pleasantly surprised I will admit. The outsole appears to be very durable and grippy, but only time will tell. My 18s have held up very well over 300+ miles and I donāt plan to retire them anytime soon. I expect the same with these, if not better. Compared to my evo sls, definitely a tad slower, but also way more cushioned. Iāll consider these my āmedium paceā shoe as of now. My only gripe with the 18s was that they felt a bit narrow, but they broke in very well. I think I solved this by sizing up on the plus, and Iām glad I did. These definitely feel like an upgrade, but also slightly different use case. Overview: After just one run, they have lived up to my personal expectations. I have been eager to get my hands on these due to my love for the 18s, and Iām very satisfied. I really donāt have any complaints as of yetā¦
Plus nothing compares at least for me. These and the 18s feel like they were made for me haha.
I have the More v6, good shoe, it's the no brainer for you.
I have been impressed with the New Balance Fresh Foam X More V6. Highly cushioned and eat up long run miles. I also own and enjoy Vomero Plus but the More V6 seems to be a more plush ride while the Vomero Plus is like running on mini-trampolines š. Both good for long runs but in different ways.
