SUPERBLAST 2
Marathon workhorse, but loud and clunky at slow paces.

Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
I am similar (1.8m 107kg), can i ask what pace you are running the half and looking to finish the full? I bought a pair of SB2 and looking to use it for my upcoming full in May. Fyi I ran my first full with NB SCtrainer V2 but bottomed out after 30k
Hi Batchmate, I'm 85kg, 5'11 and using NB5 as daily trainers. I chose Superblast2 as my TBR shoes haha bought it yesterday and will plan to break it in tomorrow. Then will use to all my long runs para masanay yung paa ko until TBR .
I am an older, bigger & slower runner who has been running for about 6 years. My shoe journey has been very hit and miss so looking for some advice. My current shoes are Brooks Glycerin GTS (daily runner), Saucony Tempus 2 (tempos and intervals) and Puma Magmax Nitro 2 (long runs and recovery). Previously I ran marathons predominantly in the Tempus and was generally pretty beaten up feet afterwards. Have tried carbon shoes before but they really lack stability and forefoot stiffness is hard, the best were a pair of SC trainers v2 I think. Reasonably happy with the Glycerin and Tempus combo but looking for an alternative to the Puma for long runs and race day type stuff. My Marathon is roughly 4 hours 30 minutes give or take. My stride is predominantly midfoot progressing to a little more heel as I tire out. Happy to look at stable neutral or stability. What would you recommend I look into?
88kg here and I have the SB2 and SB3. Just did a half marathon yesterday in SB2 and felt unreal. I would say I really enjoy SB3 at easy paces but only done 30km in them yet. SB2s have 180km on them and feel unreal, best shoe I’ve run in so far. I like the firmness of the 2
I understand that. What impressed me was the comfort. It feels like I can wear this shoe forever without getting any issues. Overall more comfortable than the SB2. Haven’t tried the Azura though.
Since June 2023 I've had three pairs of the NB SC Trainer V2s - absolute tank of a shoe with 500 miles on each of the first two. However, in the last six months I started using an old race pair of the Elite V4s - I've now got 350 miles on these but the outsole was getting wrecked (shoe goo has lasted longer than the rubber). Bought another pair a couple of weeks ago, and it's like putting on an old pair of comfortable slippers. Still did a tempo run in the old pair this week though. You can run at any pace in them, they eat the miles up, amazing cushion, and legs are always fully recovered. I've tried using my Rebels and Evo SLs but, for me, they are great up to 10 miles or so.
