SUPERBLAST 2
Marathon workhorse, but loud and clunky at slow paces.

I would go with something stable and comfortable. You’re gonna get tired, your form is going to get sloppy. 1080 v15, Glycerin, Vomero 18 or plus… Run in several and find what is comfortable to you. You just need to finish to get the PR.
i have the NB5TR. Great shoe, maybe just a little firmer than the standard NB, but of course it is not waterproof. I second the Vomero 18. Great shoe, bit heavier than what you are used to, fantastic outer sole profile and available in GTX. Ticks alot of your boxes!
If you’re coming from Ride 19 and looking into faster shoes I would avoid Boston 13 since B13 is very stiff. As of right now I have 5 shoes in my rotation: • Nike Vomero 18 GTX (*mostly used during winter and for easy or muddy runs*) • Saucony Endorphin speed 4 (*last dance with these*) • Boston 13 (*to replace ES4*) • ~~HOKA Clifton 9 (*easy runs, but they should’ve been thrown away since I got the Vomeros*)~~ • Adios pro 4 (*intervals/races/tempo*) So, the Bostons I got to replace my endorphin speed 4, they’re super stiff, stiffer than I anticipated. Depending on your speed I think Bostons not the best choice, they need a pretty nice pace to actually bloom. Like 4:45/k or faster. I like them best at 4:15-4:30. So looking into your pace, and looking at your list I’d say: • Above 5:10/k Saucony Azura • 4:30-5:20/k Saucony endorphin speed 5 • Below 4:40/k Boston 13 However, remember that endorphin speed series have nylon plates, not carbon but there’s still a plate. Endorphin speed 5 is the most versatile shoe in your list. The megablast I haven’t tried, so I’ll leave that shoe outside my list, but that’s most likely a nice shoe as well.
Go for Clifton 10s or Vomeros 18 🫡 97 kilos and 1.82 here!
Word of caution with these - they keep water out well, but keep it in very well too. Apparently my feet sweat a lot and my shoes were just as wet with sweat after a 10 mile run than if I just wore normal shoes.
Just got a pair recently, found them really good for road to trail because the outsole grip is pretty good and despite being relatively heavy they have a decent bit of energy return.
